Ode to Femininity
The fragrance first came to my attention thanks to the addition of a dear perfume friend.
In the opening, a certain citrus note predominates, which is quite pleasant due to its subtle restraint. At the same time, there is a slight floral quality that makes the scent clearly more feminine for me. Tiare in the top note is unmistakable and is also a reason why I wouldn't necessarily wear Poudre d'or in winter, but rather in the warmer months. From the very beginning, there is a light sweetness and powderiness, but it never becomes overwhelming. Vanilla and musk in the base harmoniously round it all off. Sillage and longevity are at a pleasant medium level, and therefore the fragrance definitely has the potential to be a signature scent.
