Common as muck
You might assume that a perfumer as accomplished as Morillas would, for his signature line, eschew common super-amber-woods (AmberMax, Norlimbanol, etc.) and instead create an amber out of vanilla, benzoin, and labdanum. You’d be wrong. This screechy juice is as overdosed with super-ambers as any $20 Lattafa. I couldn’t scrub it off fast enough.

Beginning
Amber is somewhat like the beginning of the world of fragrances. Even the ancient Egyptians used it, Catherine de' Medici, many kings throughout generations.
Quote from the creator, Mr. Morillas: "Amber is a fabulous material for a perfumer. It is enough to just say its name to awaken the imagination. Amber is a scent that speaks volumes on the skin, just as it delights the senses!"
And so the fragrance here is an exquisite and warm amber scent.
Mandarin, orange blossom, then cardamom and rose in the middle. Bourbon vanilla and amber play in the base.
Nothing is too much here and certainly not too little! It should be a modern amber scent, for a woman, for a man, for this time.
Sweet and devilish in one place, absolutely classy!

Smells like a woman who works at Saks “for fun” bc her husband is an exec and she’s bored at home all day. Sticky sweet with a floral top.

I smell nothing but sharp synthetic notes with a paper scent, so it's super unisex.
