A bit too sweet for me
There's definitely some of the aromaticness of a cherry in this fragrance. You know, that characteristic velvet-y taste that's almost a little boozy. And I don't know if it's just placebo - the perfume is named after a cherry *stem*, after all - but I smell a very slight hint of something woody/green.

It's not bad. It's a fairly good execution. The pairing of cherry, plum, and brandy notes is inspired. But... together with all those notes is something sweet, almost approaching a really generic vanilla. That ruins my enjoyment of the perfume. Reminds me of a cherry and cola popsicle, and I feel like I've let it melt and dribble onto my wrist.

Weak and not as interesting as I hoped
Opens with pure cherry hard candy. Sweet, bright, a little sour but only in an enhancing-the-sweet way. When I first wore it I felt the cherry calmed down into something a little boozier and drier, but upon wearing it again the candy sticks with me. I only get the florals as a background hint, which is interesting because I feel like usually my skin amplifies jasmine.

I wanted this to be sexier than it is. I was specifically seeking the red fruit element, which it definitely has, and I'm not actually averse to the cherry Jolly Rancher vibes, but the sillage is too weak for it to be more than vaguely pleasant on me. It fades fast and I didn't find the leather/wood base was very present in the dry-down. If projection and longevity were amped up several degrees I could see myself wearing this occasionally, but as-is I probably won't.

Cherry Stem
Initial spray is cherry hard candy, very fruity but not overly sweet. I get very little cognac or booziness from this, so if that’s a sticking point for you then don’t let it put you off; the overall vibe is fruity and uplifting, even youthful.

As it settles it becomes much sweeter, with hints of leather, jasmine (subtle but discernible), and white sugar. There’s a touch of woodiness also.

In terms of silage, it’s quieter than I expected (and I used most of a 1ml sample). Unless I press my nose up close I get only the barest hint of scent. It lasted well, though, with the cherry still just about discernible after ~8 hours.

Definitely pleasant, and one I’m pleased to have tried, but not an immediate rush out and buy in the way I thought it was going to be.

SOUR, SOFT, GONE...
OK, so… either this perfume is extremely shy or my nose and it are simply not on speaking terms.

I don’t know which aromachemicals they used, but I might be completely anosmic to them, because despite the avalanche of glowing reviews and influencers hyping it to the heavens, I can barely smell anything. What does register is something vague, sour, slightly burnt, and a soft, wispy floral that immediately evaporates. Blink and it’s gone.

I genuinely thought something was wrong with my nose, so I tested it twice on different days. Spoiler: my nose is fine. I could smell other fragrances perfectly well. This one? Still playing hide-and-seek.

And unfortunately, what I can smell… I don’t like. It’s sour, flimsy, has zero backbone, no depth, no drama, no personality. Just bland, weak, overly floral, and transparent in the most uninspiring way possible.

I had high hopes for this one. Truly. But alas, this was not a slow burn or a misunderstood masterpiece. This was just bad. BAD.

Cherry shampoo
As a fan of cherry scents, I got overly confident about this one and got a whole 5 ml decant right off the bat. I should've been more cautious... But it has good reviews, so I thought I'd risk it... This is a synthetic cherry. Now, I do not mind a somewhat synthetic cherry, however, normally synthetic cherry just smells like booze or candy (or both). Or medicine, if we're unlucky. This synthetic cherry, the one right here, smells like shampoo! What in the world? No booze, no leather, no fun. I'm not smelling any plum, either. I am, however, definitely getting tons of freesia and sugar, ugh... A very sweet cherry shampoo scent, that's a first! (I think, at least, I haven't tried a cherry shampoo scent before). The longevity is also that of a shampoo :D barely there. One saving grace: the cherry note is a dark cherry.

Where is the stem????

You bite into a cherry, and the juice bursts out. Tart, dripping. Woody base. One of the most realistic cherry portrayals I've ever smelled.

This reminds me of cherry punk but without all of the leather. I think cherry stem is blended nicely and could be worn day or night. I

It’s a nice boozy cherry fragrance. Doesn’t last very long on my skin. Maybe a little too sweet.

Non-medicinal cherry, almost has a pomegranate -y feel to it. Only mildly leathery to me, and the woodiness is very subdued. Short-lived.

I’m just grateful this isn’t another cough medicine cherry scent (I’m traumatized).

Smells like a standard cherry scent on a test strip. On my skin, the fragrance disappears within minutes.

This is more of a woody/leather scent than "cherry". Strong and long-lasting. Definitely one of their better ones.

Nice juicy "boozy cherry" start, later becomes generic sweet, more caramel than leathery, quickly turns into a "skin scent", feminine, office safe.
