Neroli beast
Spectacular. Bitter, green, slightly indolic, sweetened by orange blossom but made bitter and resinous by myrrh.
It's slightly monolithic, it doesn't change much over time, but the combination of notes in this fragrance is truly spectacular and makes you appreciate Neroli.
Really a blast. Beautiful beautiful beautiful.

Number 1 Neroli
I love orange scents, and I own about 30 of them. Of all the various presentations of the orange tree neroli is my favorite, and Profumum Roma's Neroli has gone to the top of my list. It opens with sweet, fresh orange flower and neroli with a very green petitgrain, but as it begins to dry down you get the very special nature of this perfume. The neroli gets richer as the base of myrrh and woody incense begins to appear, there is less of the sweet freshness and more of an oriental feel, but it never gets too heavy, just warmer. The longevity is amazing, I can get a full day's wear with just 3 sprays in the morning. I have to say that I think it the perfect neroli for winter wear, and it's suitable for day or evening. This is a fragrance that's definitely worth it's price!

A Surprise
Yesterday I received a sample of Neroli and curiously tested it. I like the heavy scents from Parfumum Roma and am looking for a summer-compatible fragrance.
Well. I would say it smells like a summer with depth, disappointed feelings, and bitter thoughts.

Neroli is the result of the orange blossom. Here, the orange does not come across as a fruity scent, I was clear about that beforehand.
The fragrance immediately presents the blend of all ingredients; I smell myrrh, neroli, and shortly after, the wood comes through.
It smells spicy. At first, quite strong. It is not sweet, rather herbal with a bitter orange. I did not expect that. Also, the fact that the scent faded relatively quickly. After three or four hours, I could no longer perceive it.

Nomen est Omen?
Thanks to Luckyscent.com, I was able to get my hands on samples of "Profumum Roma" quite well, affordably, and relatively quickly.

My first test candidate is now "Neroli." Since today is a very sunny and exceptionally beautiful day, I thought a scent "around oranges" would fit perfectly.

So I put a few drops on the back of my hand. Almost immediately, a citrusy smell spreads. Very unpleasant, very synthetic. OK, top notes can be peculiar, and usually something more agreeable follows relatively quickly. Unfortunately, in this case, it does not for me! I have been enduring this scent for a full two hours, and absolutely nothing is happening. Is it the myrrh or the neroli? I have no idea. The scent profile of neroli is described as "floral, sweet-fresh, slightly spicy-herbaceous." Citrus is missing from that list. I also can't even detect a hint of orange blossoms and/or orange wood. Something is definitely off between the label and the bottle's contents! Label deception? That must be it.

For me, this scent completely fails, as I have little desire to smell like a cleaning agent or a toilet block!

Citrus-tree foliage, neroli that isn’t soapy in the slightest, and cheerful, juicy orange.

Sweet, sparkling orange. Followed by warm resins. How an orange tree might smell in your dreams. Love it. Awfull bottle though!

Like a 50/50 mix of neroli and orange blossom absolute. Opens with soapy astringent neroli that calms down to a juicy citric sweetness

Neroli Portofino can’t compete. Beautiful neroli scent and a lasting freshness. Top 3: Neroli, Neroli Extreme, and Neroli Dore!!

The famous water from Cologne has been intensified into a powerful fragrance and now packs a punch.

Tested the new version yesterday, a delicious fresh scent that occasionally reminds me of the house's Aqua Viva, but you have to like Neroli;-)

Compared to Orangea by PR, Neroli is less refreshing but more floral. From 1998, you can smell it, but it's still very cool to wear.

Nimm2 Lemon at niche fragrance prices.
For me, it's a bit too unremarkable and clearly overpriced! There are similar ones for less money!

Not your average Neroli! Bitter, woody, spicy thanks to the myrrh. In my opinion, suitable for any season. It has insane performance!
