The nonsensical flower shop
Today I brought out a 2ml vial full to the brim with Mischief EDP from the sample box. How did I manage to miss THAT? Thanks to the user who sent me this gem!
This is something new for me. the Rojas I know are all much heavier food than this one. compare to the Extrait I can not draw any here.
Mischief EDP is for me a VERY flowery, but at the same time fresh and green fragrance. When I spray on it, I feel like I'm right in the middle of the flower shop. My first thought: SO smells a Flowerbomb (NO, this one doesn't smell like Flowerbomb from V&R, of course, only the name seemed very fitting to me). Hyacinths, lily of the valley and lots of greenery, just freshly poured. (The citric top notes are probably so well blended that this impression is simply created instead of smelling a standard citrus top note). Of course the water evaporates sometime or is sucked up by the flowers and a long lasting but nevertheless unobtrusive flower scent remains. For lily of the valley the whole thing smells very transparent. As a comparison I can think of the now discontinued A Scent by Issey Miyake. This is probably due to the hyacinth, which Mischief smells quite clearly along with the lily of the valley. Roja of course smells better - the notes are more beautifully blended, the sillage is constant throughout the day and does not warp so quickly - and the herbaceous top note of A Scent is also missing here.
But what really surprises me here is that I've been waiting for the base notes for almost 9 hours now. Since the flower water has dried up, nothing has actually happened. Doesn't bother me now, but I'm a little surprised when you look at what's supposed to be in here. But who knows Roja fragrances, knows that the gentleman apparently always diligence to write the pyramids of fragrance do. Or he mixes homeopathic doses of the indicated fragrances in such a way that one hardly notices them.
By the way, Mischief means mischief, nonsense, nonsense. Roja Dove takes the ramp sow on the grain again. The fragrance is very neat and restrained. I don't think you'll notice anything unpleasant about this.
I would rather recommend it to the ladies because it is already very flowery. Really gentle, feminine-floral. In late spring when it's not so hot yet, during the day.
I really like the scent a lot. It is exactly what I like about the lighter fragrances. You should really consider this when buying. Lily of the valley, hyacinths and flower shops are all things you have to like to enjoy Mischief. If that's the case, however, you can access it without hesitation. The price is of course completely exaggerated, but on the other hand you really have a light and fresh scent, which lasts the whole day even with economical dosage. And you won't find anything like that in a reasonably reasonable price segment
