Alt-Bae's fragrance?

Here's my opening gambit: Erba Pura is the Salt Bae of fragrances. A meteoric rise and fall, overplayed (e.g. Pazzaglia built his "empire" around its "clones") with little substance.

... but somewhere, in a tesseract parallel universe Nurset has 3 PhDs and invented a solution to deal with famine globally. Effectively, this is what Erba Leather represents, compared to Erba Pura and Provenzano is the brainy alt-Bae boy.

Erba Leather is a "fun leather" fragrance, that starts with a mix of ripe (but not sweet) passion fruit and... leather. After 1 hour the passion fruit goes away (and the similarity with Oud Maracujá ends there), but the jasmine kicks in. As the fragrance progressively evaporates, it becomes more and more musky.

Excellent performance, and reasonable price - at discounters.

It has officially become my new love.

It has officially become my new love.
I love leathery fragrances, and the leather in Erba Leather is uniquely elegant, initially showing its presence almost as if it were the main note, but then, surrounded by wonderfully balanced fruity notes, it is enriched with softness and becomes nothing less than magnetic.
In my opinion, it will be one of the brand's most appreciated fragrances.
Immediately on my wishlist.
It is magnetic for me, like one of my favourite paintings: ‘The Oath of Horatii’ by David.

Powerfully Fruity Scent with a Leather Twist

This is the kind of fragrance where even one spray is almost too much! If you smell it, you’ll be nose-blind to any other scents in the store. It’s a sweet, fruity scent with a hint of leather and some dry, woody vetiver. The dominant note is definitely the fruitiness, which I find quite similar to "Erba Pura | XerJoff" , with a touch of jasmine blending with the woody leather notes.

The longevity is incredible—almost eternal! However, it’s a bit too strong for my taste, and the dry-down feels a bit synthetic. It’s a bold, unisex fruity scent, with the addition of leather giving it a slightly more masculine edge overall.

P.S. The new blue-purple bottle looks so cool!

The best leather x fruit cocktail scent I know

hold on tight!

Here comes Kurt. Or rather: Erba Leather.

A real hit. For anyone who no longer wants to buy the LV Ombre Nomad, as far too many people own that scent and there are also terribly many copies, they will be a happy customer at Sospiro with a significantly better taste.

Please forgive my initial fun: if you want to understand it, just listen to "Hier kommt Kurt" by Frank Zander. In short: the scent gives exactly matching vibes to this song.

The Erba Leather is: ruthless, imposing, fast-paced, and overwhelming - not for beginners or cowards. You can't wear it everywhere and not all the time, it would be too precious for that.

But for a perfect evening in a bar, while dancing, generally on a date, or at an eccentric occasion, the Erba Leather always delivers.

Now to the scent: imagine you combine passion fruit with Ombre Leather by Tom Ford and add the longevity/sillage of Erba Pura before its reformulation. The perceived notes can hopefully be imagined by everyone. As for H/S, we are dealing with a true beast here. Therefore, I estimate 9h+ active projection and certainly 12h of the scent being perceptible up close.

No blind buy! But a pure recommendation for anyone who likes Erba Pura and has nothing against a touch of leather.

Good but Could Be Better

Definitely the better Erba Pura! The fruity note is significantly more pleasant here, appearing more natural and less synthetic. The only problem is the leather - it is well integrated and gives the fragrance a nice depth, but it could be much stronger. A touch more presence and perhaps even a slight animalistic note would really benefit the fragrance and give it even more character.

Still, it is a successful scent that convinces in many aspects. But as I said - there is still room for improvement!
