The serious farce
Farsa is essentially a niche/higher quality and longer lasting version of Jazz Club or The One for Men Eau de Parfum. Warm, boozy, and sweet. I swear there's some tobacco in there too, though it is not present in the note breakdown. Drydown is smooth and woody/earthy, no trace of oud or ambergris. Nice, but not earth-shattering, like most Sospiro fragrances; whose mantra seems to be "unoriginal, but good quality."
Maybe I'm just a stickler for names/theming, but shouldn't THIS be Il Padrino, and Il Padrino be named "Farsa?" This scent gives the effect of a dark booze-and-tobacco-filled room where shady deals are done, while Il Padrino is a silly, playful, overly-sweet frivolous creation. Surely more of a "farce" than this scent!
