Erba Pura perfected ?

I have smelled all the Erba fragrances from Xerjoff+Sospiro and I have to say, as pure Erba DNA, Magica is the best. I always like to make the following comparison: if Erba Pura is a juicy fruit salad, Erba Pura Magica is a juicy fruit salad with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

It replaces that tart hairspray-like note with a really nice and smooth creaminess that just reminds me of ice cream. It fits perfectly into this DNA and really feels like an enhancement to the composition rather than a true flanker. In addition, it actually has more of a gourmand effect and is more unisex than feminine, as many claim about Erba Pura. In comparison, Erba Gold has something rather rich and slightly tropical in the fruit selection of the basket. Overall, Erba Gold smells a little more sophisticated but not necessarily better. For me, the normal Erba Pura would be a 7.5/10, the Gold an 8.5/10 and the Magica a 9/10. All three very nice but therefore good, better and best.

The Erba that exceeds all expectations!

It took Provenzano exactly one second to completely destroy ALL Erba Puras such as Kirkè Extrait de Parfum, Heroine, "Erba Pura | XerJoff", "Erba Gold | XerJoff" and Herbal Aquatica with this fragrance. Well, you might think that the top note is what makes the fragrance? Wrong! This fragrance probably has the best drydown I have ever experienced. Find out more in this review!

The top note immediately reminds me of "Erba Gold | XerJoff". However, I find it a little more masculine and citrusy than Gold. Here we start with a pleasant (not highly synthetic as in "Erba Pura | XerJoff") fruit basket, which is characterized by the characteristic combination of citrus and jasmine. Nothing stands out unpleasantly - no hair lacquer or anything like that. Instead, a wonderful citrus-jasmine fruit basket unfolds, which is absolutely unisex, yet slightly masculine. The opening is fresh, life-affirming and youthful and lively thanks to its sweet, fruity character. From the very first spray, Erba Pura Magica conveys a pure good mood and immediately transports you to a vacation.

The fragrance becomes even more exciting in the heart. Here, it develops into a balsamic, woody-caramel scent that is absolutely addictive. I don't even want to know how many times I had to sniff my wrist - simply amazing! The fragrance becomes more masculine as it progresses, as the woods and balsamic notes mute the fruitiness. Interestingly, however, the fruitiness never disappears. This is a huge difference to "Erba Gold | XerJoff", where the fruity notes are completely lost after about 1.5 hours. Brilliant! Very good, Provenzano!

In the base note, Provenzano relies on caramel and musk instead of the usual vanilla-musk combination. The musk is absolutely pure - comparable to Musk Therapy Extrait de Parfum - and supports the caramel perfectly. The drydown is truly magical: slightly creamy, yet fresh and slightly cool. The subtly sweet musk-caramel combination inevitably casts a spell over you.

The longevity and sillage of this fragrance are exceptionally good. I find it slightly less potent than "Erba Pura | XerJoff", but stronger than "Erba Gold | XerJoff". Magica strikes the perfect balance in my opinion, as the DNA has been tuned through the changes and concentration so that it doesn't cause headaches like the other Erba fragrances. Four sprays are enough to keep you smelling for around ten hours with moderate projection - simply great!
When and where to wear it?
I still wouldn't recommend wearing the fragrance at work (he said and sprayed two sprays on himself for work anyway - but that remains our secret!) However, it is perfect for leisure, dates or the club. With its citrusy, fruity freshness, Magica is definitely a spring and summer fragrance.

The fragrance is wearable for both sexes. Especially men who have not yet been completely convinced by "Erba Pura | XerJoff" & "Erba Gold | XerJoff" should definitely give it a sniff!

The packaging and the bottle fit in perfectly with brands such as Creed, MFK & Ex Nihilo. However, you should be careful not to soak the velvet cover with perfume when spraying, as it can crumble over the years, just like the velvet covers from Xerjoff, and then it won't look as nice. The price of 229 €/100 mL is a little high, but if you can find it between 150 and 180 €, it is absolutely worth the money. What's more, you will hardly use up this 100 mL bottle quickly, as just a few sprays will give you pleasure for a long time.

you should definitely have smelled Erba Pura Magica if you liked "Erba Pura | XerJoff" in any way. This fragrance hits like a bomb! My synapses needed some time to realize that an Erba DNA can be so convincing. I can't wait to see what else Provenzano will surprise us with in the future.

For me the most beautiful Erba Pura DNA

I really like Erba Pura Magica by Sospiro, even though I've never been a huge fan of the well-known Erba Pura DNA. But this fragrance actually manages to convince me.

I like the fruity facet of the fragrance, which also has a balsamic touch and a subtle sweetness.
The fragrance simply conveys a certain class.

The interplay of various fruits, some bergamot, the balsamic notes and the great base of amber, caramel, cedarwood and musk really works really well. You can actually feel all these notes. At least I have the impression of recognizing everything in certain phases.
The notes simply harmonize together.

I find that Erba Pura Magica has this balsamic impact right at the beginning, as well as a fine caramel sweetness. I like that and have the feeling that it gives the fragrance a certain depth right away.

It is also well received on the outside. My partner is the only one who doesn't like it.
She thinks it is very spicy and too strong.

This brings me straight to the subject of performance.
The fragrance lasts about 8-11 hours on my skin and the projection is also really good.
In addition, the Erba Pura Magica is wonderfully unisex.

Perfection with this DNA

This Erba Pura DNA is actually quite "worn out", but it's still a type of fragrance that simply always works and simply captivates many people. The original "Erba Pura | XerJoff" didn't make it into my collection, although I don't think it's bad at all. What many people don't know is that this whole V-Line in the velvety bottles is actually from Sospiro and was bought up by Xerjoff. The fact that Sospiro has now re-emerged has caused a lot of beef between the brands. However, both brands are very much appreciated by me. However, in my opinion, this Erba Pura clearly goes to Sospiro. Sospiro also has the Erba Leather and the Erba Oud in its range, which have the same DNA with leather and oud. I think the latter is quite cool and is also in my collection.
In terms of price, the two fragrances don't have much in common, although you have to wait for the right offer for this Sospiro. you can get 100ml for under 200€, which is a good catch if you like this great fruity-sweet DNA. Packaging is cool too. You get a great box that is sealed with two stickers. Also makes a visual impact.
Many people don't like the velvety bottles. I'm not a big fan, but Sospiro does it a little better. Softer and of higher quality, and it doesn't give the impression of coming loose like Xerjoff. In addition, the typical Erba Pura color with chic golden decoration and lid. Makes quite an impression.

If you don't have the necessary change for this Sospiro or one from XJ, you can also get the Shaghaf Oud Ahmar Eau de Parfum, which goes in a very similar direction. Here, however, you get a high-end product in a class of its own in a complete package. The biggest difference between these two competitors: The Magica is significantly softer, less penetrating & pungent and simply balsamic-soft. The fruity note of exotic fruits is identical and lovers of this DNA will get their money's worth. This fruit cocktail is soft, juicy, somewhat exotic, invigorating and simply a compliment magnet. Even if the sillage is no less good, you get a less penetrating fragrance here than with XJ. This makes the whole thing much more pleasing and also more wearable in many situations. In addition, this Magica is relatively fresh and can be worn in warmer temperatures. Soft flowers and wonderfully soft balsamic notes also make their presence felt. This also adds such light Cassiopea Extrait de Parfum vibes. The whole thing is topped with beautifully sweet caramel, which is not too much, however, and is in a pleasant range. Of course, musk is also a must in this Erba Pura DNA, but here it is very well balanced and blends beautifully with the fruit. Wood and amber can also be found in the great, gentle drydown.
Performance is top, like most with this type of fragrance. The fragrance already has quite a lot of oil, which you can see after spraying it on. The sillage is really good, but not over the top. Longevity should be over 10 hours. All in all, a great unisex fragrance that makes you feel good without getting on people's nerves. However, it certainly has the most charm in leisure time.

For me, the perfection of this world-famous DNA. This fruit cocktail with sweet, balsamic and floral accents is a top choice for feeling good and also for compliments.
