Sour Sweet with Tobacco on Top
I really like rhubarb as a fragrance note, and I had high expectations for this scent, which features rhubarb and vanilla sauce in the title. My high expectations were only partially met.

I can definitely smell the rhubarb, most distinctly in the first few minutes. After that, the rhubarb is very much framed by citrus notes and doesn't stand out quite as clearly anymore.
In addition to the sourness, the fragrance also clearly has a sweetness. However, I can't identify this sweetness as vanilla or pastry.
Rhubarb with vanilla sauce is not necessarily what I perceive overall. After a few minutes, something herbal is added to the sweet-sour base. It's not definitively tobacco, but it definitely leans in that direction. The fragrance notes list hay, and yes, that somehow fits with what I'm sensing here.

The scent is well noticeable and long-lasting. Those are definitely positive points. Otherwise, I am quite disappointed with the fragrance. Sweet and sour, along with citrus and tobacco - somehow the different fragrance directions don't quite come together for my nose.

Butter biscuit or cake baked?
How should one describe this beautiful scent?
First of all, thank you to the lovely Parfuma for allowing me to test it.
I would say nothing fits the description more than the day I wore this delicious little fragrance for the first time.
I strolled into the office as usual in the morning, quickly brewed some coffee... Did a little work before the rest showed up (most of the time I’m the first one in the house)
When my favorite colleague, as always in a good mood, swung the door open... nose in the air... "Mmmmm, it smells delicious in here.
Did you bake a cake, something with coconut or cookies... Man, now I’m hungry"

Rhubarb & Custard 1:29 smells like butter biscuits dipped in milk... Someone is peeling rhubarb next to me, sweet but not sticky... YUMMY
My colleague smells coconut... Hmm maybe from the hay vanilla notes...
At first, I was worried it might be too sweet for me, but no. Where Lira was unfortunately just toooooo much, this one is just right.
It's just a shame that the 4160 Tuesdays fragrances are not easily available, but I’ll keep my eyes open.
