Boosted Black Currant

I expected it to be darker, stronger, and more floral.
I can really smell the black currant, which is nice. Overall, it's too fruity for me (at least in the fall, I should try it again once we are out of "sweater weather"). I prefer my sweet scents to have a lot more vanilla.
After several hours, the musk did start to show through, but retains a sweet fruitiness.

Flowerbomb for Your Evenings

This is a special fragrance for me, since it was the first ever perfume I redeemed from one of those Sephora perfume samplers. I still have the travel spray from... 2019? 2020? I only pull this out for very special occasions.

It's sweet like other Flowerbomb scents, but the slight spiciness in the opening gives it an elegant flair that sets it apart from other florals. Not sure what note that is. It fades after a couple of hours and I wish it had better lasting power. This and Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid are my favorites from this line of scents. Since it seems like this is discontinued, I guess I will continue rationing what I have left in my spray :')

No Bon Bon

Yesterday was a rainy day and I was in a grumpy mood.
Then my husband suggested a detour to my favorite perfume shop, and I was back on track.

There I discovered Flowerbomb Midnight, which piqued my interest.

Unfortunately, there was no tester, but I took a chance on a blind purchase.
I had the beautiful Bon Bon in mind and expected something similar.

At home, then came the surprise: no sweet Bon Bon blend but an elegant floral scent, with a fine note of jasmine.
The peony adds to it, rounded off with soft vanilla.

I am reminded of my Si Armani.
But Midnight is a bit sweeter, though only subtly.

I am by no means disappointed with my blind purchase, as I still have the beautiful Bon Bon.
