Sparkling Everyday Strawberry

I really like this flanker. I wasnt sure what to expect from this flanker but im not mad at all. It opens up with a sparkling strawberry note that has a clean quality about it. Its effervescent and bright with a youthful appeal. Some would say it almost has an expensive hairspray vibe to it but in the best possible way. After the beautiful strawberry and peony opening you start to get that sensual vanilla that makes the strawberry note almost candy like in a playful way. It never goes full on candy like which i appreciate. It definitely has that iconic flowerbomb base DNA that ties it to the line. It has that gorgeous almost clean vanillic earthiness that the og flowerbomb is know for but its more subdued and adds a unique base for the beautiful strawberry and peony combo. The peony and strawberry really do compliment eachother gorgeously in this fragrance. Im really happy to have this in my collection. Its easy to love and a simple yet chic grab and go daily driver.

Wow. And immediately!

To be honest, I had no great expectations. The name sounds very innocent at first, and the bright pink bottle is also not really my thing. I was expecting a sweet, sticky, and very playful young girl scent.
I've known Flowerbomb for what feels like half my life; after I finished a bottle, it became too sweet and too floral for me. So our paths diverged almost ten years ago. I only tested this fragrance out of curiosity. But the first spray immediately caught my attention. My first thought was, wow okay….!!

The opening is juicy, fruity, and very feminine. The strawberry is not artificial at all, sticky sweet, or childish. It is very fresh and only slightly sweet. An introduction that makes you look forward to more.

After a short time, the peony takes over. Creamy, soft, but (unfortunately) really super subtle. Modern, clean, and almost transparent. For my taste, the peony could be a bit louder. But I think it's great that it's finally not a soapy classic peony.

After about 30 minutes, the scent becomes creamier, with musk and vanilla coming to the forefront. Like freshly applied cream, with an extremely wonderful cream. The fragrance becomes creamy, delicate, and powdery!

It's not a loud scent, which I would have initially suspected. It's a type of fragrance that makes you want to keep smelling your hand.
I love it! Yes!!! Yes, this is how I want to smell in spring! Every day.

I can't get enough of this scent.

At this point, I have to mention that there are currently two other new releases that go in a pretty similar direction: Miss Dior Essence and La Vie est Belle L'Elixir.
For me, all these fragrances belong to the same scent category. However, I find this scent to be the best. It is the most delicate and the least dense. Very lightly powdery, transparent, and creamy.

A test that is worth it.

Strawberry is often too squeaky and papery for me. Not here! A lovely little strawberry on Flowerbomb DNA, but delicate and soft with a bit of powder.
