Ruby peach
I always loved Flowerbomb, since the first time I smelled it back when it was new. The flankers can be hit or miss, some don't have the charms of the original at all. This one does. In the opening it smells like a mixture between the original and Flowerbomb Nectar. Completely with the signature patchouli, vanilla cookie-ish orchid, candied florals and transparent tea of the OG Flowerbomb and the licorice vibe of FB Nectar.

And then the peach rolls in. It's sooo juicy. Intense, but never dull, like a peach ice tea without the tea or a slightly diluted peach syrup. Maybe it's even closer to a ripe nectarine than a real peach, it misses the fuzzy texture of peach skin and has more of a glossy-smooth feel, if that makes sense to you. It's a bit similar to the fruit notes in the Bonbon line.
The fruitiness only comes out in the heart of the perfume and stays all through the drydown, blended into a milky caramelized vanilla and the sparkling, patchy Flowerbomb DNA. It's wonderfully gourmand.

Some may find this unoriginal, and I don't necessarily disagree, but sometimes it's that simple: I love Flowerbomb, I love peaches and nectarines, therefore I love this peachy Flowerbomb flanker. Do I need it? No, I have Flowerbomb Nectar and I also have Montale's Vanilla Extasy, which basically smells like Flowerbomb with apricots. But if I didn't, I would definitely consider FB Ruby Orchid.

Flowerbomb for sweet lovers
I think people who prefer the original Flowerbomb probably don't like this one, and that is fair. I am the opposite--the original Flowerbomb isn't really my thing. I don't hate it, but it is just kinda bleh on me. This one is a lot sweeter, with some earthy depth that makes it smell like a rich & creamy chocolate covered peach to me. The Flowerbomb essence is there, but it is not as assertive as the OG. I love the bottle as well. To be quite honest, when I first smelled this, I wanted to hate it, but it is my favorite go-to vanillic perfume now.

Synthetic Bomb
This a blend of the Original formula and Nectar with an addition of synthetic mess. Its like someone wanted this fragrance to smell fruity and decided to amp it up to the point that it feels like you are looking at a high definition picture of fruit through a field of static. This is a sweet juicy peach with a humid tropical floral and powdery vanilla. It goes back to the original formula in that it leans into flourmand territory. I think its missing something to balance against all the amped up sweet notes. Its ends very perfume smelling perfume, if that makes sense. Its just a blend of generic fruity sweet that has lost all character. Its okay at best but thankfully it isn't headache inducing.

This fragrance did create a sweet bubble around you that wasn't too overt. The interesting notes disappear within a hour but overall the fragrance did last about 6 hours on my skin. There are several sizes available starting at 10ml for $39, 30ml for $97, 50ml for $145, and 100ml for $18.

juicy peach
Ruby Orchid is somewhat similar to the original Flowerbomb. It is certainly sweet, but we get a more immediate and greater focus on the orchid note itself. Plus, we lose the osmanthus and replace it with a peach note, which lends a jammy quality to this perfume.

Interestingly, this includes a ‘peach vine’ that does come through somewhat in the very early stages. A greenish aroma, not overly noticeable, but it is there if you focus your nose. Patchouli is also totally here, I don’t know why it isn’t listed.

The light greenish aroma does fade and you are left with the sweet peach note. The vanilla will begin to creep in, to a greater extent, like a thick syrupy vanilla extract.

The opening is much more of a fruity sweet fragrance, just like the original. Then, the dry down will be more focused on the orchid and vanilla. Still fruity/sugary sweet, just toned down, with a lighter use of that patchouli messing about.

The vanilla and orchid combo has a powdery aroma, the further we get into things. On me, Ruby Orchid never goes fully into hyper powder territory, but it certainly is there. The original has this as well, but Ruby Orchid has the greater use of powder than its predecessor.

Peach & sugar invasion
This bottle had been on my to-try list for a long time. I also hadn't heard of Viktor & Rolf before. Admittedly, I find the prices relatively difficult, which always made me shy away a little. But at some point I dared to test this fragrance & what can I say. I loved it. & still do.

First of all - you have to be aware that you are most likely wearing the typical Flowerbomb Eau de Parfum or Flowerbomb Nectar. Immediately after spraying, this fragrance family is clearly noticeable, but that doesn't bother me as I also like the others. However, anyone who has a problem with this DNA will not be happy here. The very extensive sweetness that we know from Bonbon Eau de Parfum, for example, can also be found here. But as I said, I am very happy about the family reunion.

But now to the notes:
Right at the start, you are presented with a thick cloud of peach & red orchid. Many may describe the peach as very synthetic or even old, but I find it very fruity and soft. The floral notes of the orchid are somewhat reduced in comparison to the peach. This also suits me, as I am definitely less of a floral person.
This is underlined by lots of sugar. Really LOTS of sugar. Once it has had some time, the promised vanilla is added & rounds it off into a creamy dessert.

It is fruity sweet & yet also gourmand. Even though it has this extreme sweetness, I still find it more suitable for spring & summer than for colder days. Unfortunately, it didn't last very long on my skin, which is a real shame & brings me back to the price point. But if it were on offer, I think I would buy it again and again.

Vague florals in sugar water. Where’s that juicy ruby color, the tropical orchid, the PEACH?! Why even create an idea only to… not bother?

The performance is solid, not amazing, but I didn’t find Ruby Orchid to be disappointing in this regard.

Sweet, fruity, young. It smells very pleasant and yummy and stays light despite its sweetness. However, not for me.

Wearing this in 100 fahrenheit/38 Celsius heat. Some gourmands are way too heavy and rich for hot weather IMHO, but this one stays fresh!!

It gets the job done, but I am not impressed. There are numerous vanilla/floral/fruity scents like Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid on the market.

A generic sweet fruity floral fragrance. Very "girly". Nothing special or unique. But still, I found it to be a pleasant scent.
