A Dream in White...
Last week, I was lucky enough to win four fragrances at a low price, including this one. All four were blind buys, but this one was a major blind buy since there were no comments about it yet, and I didn't know the brand at all.
Filled with anticipation and hope, I opened the package yesterday and tested the Bai first. Here are my impressions (despite my terrible hay fever:-)
The bottle...
is simple, somewhat futuristic in my opinion, and fits well in the hand. I also received a filled travel spray in silver.
The scent...
from the very first spray, I am blown away... I can't pinpoint individual notes yet, but a mild sweetness greets me that quickly becomes powdery. But then it comes: the mimosa, gentle yet very present. I can sense the jasmine, but it stays beautifully in the background, allowing my beloved mimosa to take center stage. When the mimosa becomes tired after a while, the musk reveals itself, also very fine and powdery, underscored by a hint of patchouli.
The longevity...
is about 5-6 hours on the skin.
Conclusion...
For me, it is a beautiful spring fragrance, clean, clear, and extremely office-friendly. Not really a showstopper (like I usually prefer:-), but it still has that certain something.
