baby powder scent
it is the mathew fragrance that moved me the least. in the opening it reminds me a bit of the structure of sayat nova, but without the apricot, with that same general feeling but softer and more muted. after that the scent seems to revolve mainly around a powdery accord that, to me, strongly recalls baby powder. the powdery aspect stays quite noticeable and shapes most of the experience as it develops on skin. in recreating that accord mathew clearly did a great job, it feels well made and intentional, but personally it did not really excite me or make me fall in love with it. it is pleasant and coherent, just not the one that impressed me the most among his creations.
