Absolutely not for beginners!

It's similar to the OG. A patchouli-dominated fragrance that has a pungent, slightly green note. The patchouli should be from Indonesia because of that character (pungent, a little earthy, a little green).

For those who are new to the world of perfume; it's probably too spicy and strong and sharp and edgy fragrance; but for noses that have tested many scents, it is a potent perfume of patchouli scent and patchouli lovers like this perfume too much.

Wear this perfume only in winter please, I believe that fall is warm enough for wearing Miraj Absolu!!

A New King in the Alternative Sky

I am truly at a loss for words, and I mean that in the most positive way. This is my third perfume from French Avenue, and once again, I am left speechless by how good an alternative or inspired scent can be.

The first one, "Liquid Brun | French Avenue," is already a perfect dupe for Althair for me, with hardly any differences for my nose except for minor nuances, and it boasts outstanding quality.

The same goes for "Royal Blend Séquoia | French Avenue." But now back to Miraj Absolu.

The first spray left a Wow on my lips; again, the quality is insane. For me, it’s one of my few 10/10 perfumes. It combines all the ingredients into a perfect (men's) scent. Slightly fruity - fresh, woody/spicy sweet, dirty elegant, luxuriously dark, playful yet serious at the same time.

But it also has a certain twist that makes it so special. The presentation is a true eye-catcher; just opening the box is a delight.

When it comes to price/performance, French Avenue is simply world-class in every aspect.

Is it just an alternative, or has Layton Exclusif made a mistake in the bottle? Test it... you will be thrilled.

The Dirty Brother of Layton Exclusif

Miraj Absolu surprises across the board - not only as an alternative to the well-known Parfum de Marly Layton Exclusif, but in some respects even as a better choice. What initially seems like a tribute to the noble original develops into a distinctly more willful and dirtier composition in the drydown.

The reason for this may lie in a special ingredient: civet. This imparts a slightly animalistic, almost "dirty"-seeming note to the fragrance, which Layton Exclusif does not possess in this intensity. A mystically dark depth emerges, which is both alluring and rebellious - not for the timid noses, but all the more exciting for fragrance lovers seeking something special.

Particularly noteworthy is the price-performance ratio: What you get here for relatively little money is a fragrance bomb with class, character, and impressive longevity.

Conclusion:
Miraj Absolu is not a blind clone - it is a wild, independent interpretation. Those who like Layton Exclusif but are looking for more edge and depth will find it here. A hidden gem for connoisseurs.

The Best of the Best!

Hats off! What French Avenue is putting out here is truly remarkable and a strong competitor to other Arabic fragrance houses like Lattafa, Armaf, or Afnan!

The hype around Miraj Absolu has already begun on social media channels, but this is just the beginning, as Miraj Absolu is a truly sublime and addictive scent that rivals Layton Exclusiv, even though it is not a one-to-one copy.

The top note kicks off with 300 horsepower.
Fruity, friendly with a slight Fanta note, but in the background, the smoky, woody counterparts are already warming up.
Floral and sweet, soft nuances of vanilla and sandalwood blend perfectly, resulting in the typical Layton DNA.

In contrast to Layton Exclusiv, this one is a bit more synthetic, but also more powerful and longer-lasting.
I also find the top note to be slightly fruitier and the overall composition marginally darker than the OG.

Overall, this is currently the best Layton Exclusiv alternative on the market and for a fraction of the price of the OG.
I think if Miraj Absolu goes truly viral, sales at PdM will take a hit.
Miraj Absolu is simply a knockout and my best discovery so far in 2025!
