Royal Blend French Avenue 2023

The Royal Blend is simply outstanding, from the presentation to the scent itself. I can only tell the difference between Royal Blend and Angels Share when I compare them side by side. Both are of excellent quality and very similar in my opinion.
The difference, in my opinion, is that Angels Share has more depth, i.e. I sense more spice and a slight almondy sweetness, certainly from the praline.

It' s a cheaper, lighter, and less lasting version of Angels Share.
I bought it because I tested Angels Share, and saw that people said that this comes really close to it.
Hence, it will be compared to it a lot.
Mind you as a subjective point Angels Share is not a perfect 10 for me, not even an 8. Maybe a 7.5.
Anyway, this perfume is a lighter, less complex version of AS, more sour, with less depth (hidden notes) .
The start is less rich, it just gets to the point of cognac (???) , without that cinammon thick like honey carrier of the cognac.
It gets to skin level scent fast (so not long lasting) , in like 15- 20 minutes of just walking around.
It stays on the skin as a far less noisy cognac and afterwards just transitions into a flowery smell (almost similar to some Spring clothes detergents/ Rinse- mix) .
Bottle is really good, quality.
I think AS is a more a late 20' s to late 30' s perfume, whilst this one is a teenager to early 20' s.
Also, AS leans heavily feminine (for me) , because of the hidden pastry sweetness combo whilst this one seems like an aired out room of that smell.
AS begins by smelling like sweet pastry filled with something sour and cinnamon (for me it would be apple cinnamon) , that seeped through the cracks of the dough during baking and carmelized (I can even picture it in my head, that brown sweet taste, a bit bitter encrusted with cinnamon particles) .
Royal Blend smells at the beginning like the apple juice and cinnamon, when you squeeze the excess out of this filling mix, for the pastry/ pie not to be mushy. It is sugary from the ripe apples, but a touch sour.

Hence why I said there's a thick, honey like sweetness difference.

Keeping the pastry analogy, AS is like the smell you get when you open the oven, and the smell rushes out with the steam, surrounding you and feeling like you' ve dived into it (so each inhale is the same) , or when you bite a still warm piece of pastry and it floods your nostrils, whilst this, is after you cooled the pastry, or entered the room whilst the oven was closed, and window is open, you smell the goodness, but it's still 'not ready yet' , and it just seduces your appetite.
For the price, it's bang for buck.

I don’t really like the original Angel Shares, the cinnamon is to strong for my liking and to boozy

The royal blend is more about vanilla, enough cinnamon and less boozy, wearable gourmand scent and perfect for any occasion. I wore this on morning 08 a.m and still able to smell it on 06 p.m, longevity is 10+ hours, stop counting it after 6 p.m

Projection is 4 out of 5, it’s strong but not to strong and after 3 hours it will become moderate.

It’s wearable in tropical climate, didn't feel overwhelmed or nauseated while using it.

Royal Blend took me completely by surprise. I’ve always loved cinnamon fragrances, but this one feels like the version I’ve been waiting for. It has that warm, spiced richness you get from Angels’ Share, but with a smoother, sweeter edge that makes it even more addictive.

The cinnamon in Royal Blend feels more refined and less sharp, more rounded and it blends beautifully with the sweeter notes underneath.

There’s a sensual warmth that comes through as it dries down, giving it a sexy, almost decadent vibe without ever becoming too heavy or overwhelming.

What stands out most is how well-balanced it is. It’s sweet, but not cloying; spicy, but not harsh. It feels luxurious, cozy, and surprisingly seductive all at once. If you like boozy cinnamon scents but want something a bit smoother and more elegant than Angels’ Share, Royal Blend is absolutely worth trying. It’s easily one of the best cinnamon-based fragrances I’ve worn

Booze and cinnamon. Not much apple like in Angel's Share, nor is the longevity there. It's definitely a lighter and less complex version of Angel's Share. That's ok. It smells great anyway. I do like it quite a bit, especially for the price point. However, there is this lingering chemically smell that is detected by my nose every now and then. Overall, it's ok.
