Platine Blanc French Avenue 2025

Torino21 is one of my favorite fragrances so im very familiar with it, and that was definitely what i thought of when i first sprayed this bottle of Platine Blanc same First impression and DNA but, Platine Blanc lacks the intensity of the citrus that torino21 has and also Torino21 is intense on both the mint and citrus meanwhile on the Platine Blanc its only intense on the citrus and the mint is quite lackluster making this a citrus oriented scent compared to torino21, the Torino21 also has the tartiness of other fruits like the blackcurrant note that really combines their fruity freshy scent to another level, which this Platine Blanc also lacks, so while these two fragrances are similar the Platine Blanc is NOT a Torino21

the projection is Great! i sprayed Platine Blanc plentifully on my arms and neck and people slight beyond arms reach can smell the scent when i pass them, definitely too intense for indoor use but perfect for outdoors the one weird thing is how it dissipates though after 4 hours of use outdoors in the sweltering heat the scent suddenly just vanishes, it does not fade slowly its just... gone. by hour 5 i can almost smell it after putting my nose on my skin but even then im sure its already gone and im just convincing myself its still there, so if you want to keep smelling like this you need it to bring it around with you and thats really the only very real downside to this perfume but atleast then its still being alleviated by its relatively cheap pricetag so feel free to overspray.

I've been wearing Platine Blanc for about a week now, and I must say: the scent itself is absolutely top-tier. It's an incredibly versatile summer fragrance - fresh, vibrant, and truly reminiscent of a Mojito. There’s even a subtle cooling effect that makes it perfect for hot days. Extremely massappealing and suitable for any occasion during the warmer months.

However, the performance is where this fragrance sadly falls apart for me. Longevity is very weak: I get under 3 hours on skin and barely 4 hours on clothing. The projection drops off drastically after just 30 minutes, becoming so close to the skin that it’s almost imperceptible. I applied around 6 sprays and asked my girlfriend to smell it after 40 minutes - she could barely detect anything, even from close range.

My bottle was produced only a few weeks ago, so it's definitely a fresh batch. I sincerely hope the performance improves with some maceration time, because the scent itself is incredibly well done.

Platine Blanc opens with a blast of photorealistic mint, the aroma of its leaves strongly reminiscent of that found in herbal diffuser oils. The tonic water compliments the tanginess of the lime. One can simply break down the individual notes, as they are quite intense on their own. The citruses are zesty and the blackcurrant gives it a bit of sweet sourness while the mint takes center stage, all balanced by earthy rosemary.

As time progresses, the sharp scent of the mojito fades, but the mint remains dominant and the whole fragrance composition becomes quite simple and linear. The mint isn’t toothpaste-y nor does it remind of cleaning supplies, as mint usually does, since the surrounding notes somehow give it a juicy acidic edge.

This is a great fragrance to wear in high heat and a great choice for a fun green scent - but you really do have to like mint a lot!

The opening with the lime, lemon, mint and tonic water is definitely front and center with a very smooth transition into the mid and base notes. The Rosemary gives it some edge and that's something that I really appreciate in this fragrance. To my nose the Black Currant plays far in the background of the mid I could be wrong though, but that's just what I'm getting. The Musk, Sandalwood and Oakmoss in the dry down finally gives this fragrance just the perfect ending to round it out. I live in a very hot climate and fragrances like this are well needed to brace the humidity around me while still smelling amazing.

On my skin, the opening is just a virgin mojito. Extremely photorealistic, bright, refreshing, citrusy, aromatic, and somehow not synthetic. It dries down into more of a hotel lobby type scent with some tea notes (which I am a sucker for) and it is surprisingly refined and well blended.

The dry down really is what sold me on this one. It doesn't turn into another generic fresh frag once the opening disappears. It has its own character, and the transition from the bright mojito to the softer tea is phenomenal and shows a lot of thought was put into this perfume.

I liked this on paper, but on skin it totally transformed. Easily one of the biggest surprises of the year for me. Genuinely smells like it should cost several times what it does.
