Vikings in the Caribbean
Flåm I received this morning as a bottling, of course I had to test Flåm immediately, because I was very excited and had hoped for a gentle spicy, aquatic fragrance. I hoped a little for a gentle Creed Viking or an alternative to the failed Viking Cologne.
Now to Flåm itself: I must say that I am very disappointed. There are several reasons for this.
1: The bottle and the design suggest a completely different fragrance.
2: The description illustrates just as another fragrance, at least a much more tart fragrance, which is clearly more reminiscent of the sea and Scandinavian history
3: The fragrance itself is a very big disappointment. I hoped by the bitter orange, Muscat sage, Cashmeran one on a fragrance with a very slight similarity in the Creed Viking direction, perhaps this was also the wrong intention of me, but I associate with a fragrance with dragon boat simply something else.
Flåm smells mach: jasmine, tonka bean, vanilla, aldehydes, musk and some ambroxan. The whole thing leads to the fact that here is a fragrance like Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, or comparable. It has something of a day at the beach with pina colada, sunscreen, etc. The tonka bean is unfortunately omnipresent in Flåm.
Flåm is one of those fragrances where I just do not know what it should be. Here the theme was completely missed.
The durability is in the midfield I have Flåm shortly after 10 o'clock sprayed on and Flåm is now already close to the skin. Here no longer comes much over 6- 7 hours are not inside. The silage is also rather restrained. The silage is only perceptible for a little over an hour a little over an arm's length. Flåm Is a fragrance which is not really perceptible to other people, because this is almost skin-tight after a little over 2 hours.
