Love at first sniff

This is a great spring/summer fragrance. Can definitely be worn all year around. This was a love at first sniff for me. Gave it a wearing from a free sample i received from Neimans, and i couldn’t get enough of the scent profile. This is a great citrus fragrance that actually last and makes a statement. Definitely a hidden gem in the house.

Very beautiful citrus scent with depth.

It is somewhat (too) expensive compared to other fragrances in the genre from Acqua Di Parma, etc.

For spring, summer, and autumn, or as an all-year-round companion depending on the climate zone.

I bought it in the sample set as a 2 ml decant and am considering purchasing the small 30 ml bottle.

Ithaca: A Fragrance Reflection

Simple and Beautiful

This one is going straight onto my wish list... Some other expensive brands try to justify their price with an overwhelming number of flowery, overlapping notes, a torturous sillage, and extreme longevity.
Not so with Memo:
As already seen in the excellent Eau de Memo, they reduce themselves to a few elements but execute them brilliantly. In Eau de Memo, it is "just" lemon and leather that create a fine, balanced, herbaceous-soft scent.

Now here:
Again somewhat herbaceous, with clear pencil cedar (Texas cedar) in the mix, along with zesty fruit, citrusy-bitter (bitter orange), but at the same time, there’s a scent reminiscent of the leaf rub of blackcurrants (Black Currant Bud Absolute).
That’s already three scent notes. These are super clearly recognizable and implemented in a very natural and refreshing way.
There’s also a laundry-fresh smell like in a nice hotel room, where everything is finely washed and the beds are comfortably made anew. Additionally, there’s an association with a fine hotel soap, but the freshness always takes center stage.
You feel clear, clean, refreshed, and yet grounded.
In an extremely delicious way, I then smell jasmine after about 30 minutes. I’m usually super skeptical about florals in perfumes, but here it’s just a hint that briefly lets the most beautiful, slightly lively-animalistic aspect of jasmine shine through.
The sweet-sour fruity note sometimes reminds me of some childhood treat (lollies at the swimming pool or something), which increases the addictive factor a bit more.
Still, it remains serious and mature due to the strictness of the cedar.
It's a shame that it’s so expensive...
Together with Eau de Memo, it is now waiting for a salary increase.

Bitter orange paired with bergamot is very prominent. Lightly sparkling from the pepper. Hardly floral, more of a fresh scent. DD earthy wood base. Unisex.
