Great impression of Lira--sweet, fresh, versatile
Caramel Delight is the Dua inspired expression of Xerjoff Lira, capturing its lovely citrus/vanilla/lemon essence. It’s sweet, fresh, and midway between a light summer gourmand and a heavier winter gourmand, really filling that year-round-gourmand space, well-rounded by the additional of florals (lavender, jasmine) and spices (cinnamon, licorice), but the caramel/blood orange/vanilla combination tells much of the story, and it’s straightforwardly a very lovely mix, one of my all-time favorite inspired expressions.

It’s currently out of stock on the Dua Brand website but hopefully will be back at some point—it’s a gem!

What a wonderfully fragrant lemon muffin wafts into my nose here??
You open the oven and take out the wonderfully fragrant lemon muffins….your mouth starts watering.

To top it off, you add a creamy caramelized meringue topping to the delicious muffins, voilà, you have a juicy, sweet, and gourmand cupcake..Be careful, don’t be too greedy ^^

The sillage is superb, it lasts for several hours on me.

It is an incredible dupe of "Casamorati - Lira (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff" which, in my opinion, is almost identical, wow!
I also find that it resembles Tendre Madeleine almost 1:1 and that one only costs around 30€

A definite recommendation to buy if you love gourmand scents and little sweet & juicy madeleines :)

Very helpful Review 12
Is it Christmas again already?
Do you know those still lifes/arrangements on plates that some people use to decorate their homes?
Cinnamon sticks, dried woods, oranges, and the like on a plate from Leonardo (- and in my head, just one question: is this art or can it go?).
Here we have something similar, just without the dust collector factor.
So if I want to compete with the Christmas decorations and want to shout or rather whisper to the world, “I’m the tastiest cookie since the invention of the oven,” this would probably be my first choice.

My speech to the (my surrounding) world would begin with:
“I thank everyone who has come, my dear ladies and gentlemen! Thank you, bergamot and orange, for being here.”
At this moment, a brief image of the two would appear on the screen, smiling proudly and waving. Then they are gone. Apparently, they are not too keen on my lengthy speeches or want to go to the Christmas market.
“Lavender apologizes, he is sick today because he overexerted himself during his last exorcism. Cinnamon will take over his part today, thank you very much for that! Cinnamon is so versatile. Did you know that it is used in Chinese cuisine to season meat, and they really find it quite bizarre to refine desserts with it? Well...” (brief interruption at this point)
“Thank you, Jasmine, what did you want to say? I didn’t understand you! Don’t be shy, come to the podium and share it with everyone.” (...)
“Yes, exactly! There is a Christmas discount promotion. Caramel! Caramel Delight! Caramel chocolate cookies, today on offer for just five fifty!”
(Murmurs in the audience) “Yes, okay, we used vanillin instead of vanilla, but for you, my esteemed gluttonous philistines, that makes no difference anyway, the cookies are great! Help yourselves.
Merry Christmas!”

My speech fits like Caramel Delight only at Christmas.
Since it is recommended in many areas to behave counter-cyclically, I am glad in this case that this sweet treat is not a performer or even a sillage monster, so you wouldn’t really bother your colleagues in the office with it, hehehe (yes, I laugh at my own jokes), because Caramel Delight becomes quite intimate after one, at most two hours.
However, it really lasts long, just like the aforementioned decorative dust collectors - and you have to get just as close to them to be convinced that they still smell.
Whoever chose the term “citrus-gourmand” deserves no cookie from me! The seconds-long appearance of the (I cheekily call them) citrus duo, bergamot and orange (whichever, it’s not clearly a blood orange) can hardly have inspired this term.
Or can it?
Well...
Enough sweet wood has been grated.
When it comes to evaluating the price-performance ratio of perfume, I find it very difficult unless it’s about LaRive or the adventurer.
For the ~60€ (including shipping), they could have put a bit more effort into the bottle.
A glued-on label, really?!
I wouldn’t want to gift it at Christmas, unless I have the honor of testing Lira again someday and then find out that I am dealing with the better version here.

Merry Christmas, ladies and gentlemen!
Eat cookies and stay healthy!

Comparing to Lira, this is more citrucy, making it wearable in hotter weather (spring-fall) and by a man. Lira for me is feminine & I love it

A light and airy tasty caramel-vanilla mix. The citrus note has also been clearly noticeable from the start – and that's a very good thing!

Smells exactly like "Chocolate Dream" - maybe even a bit finer and more orange. If S+H impress, you can skip "Casamorati - Lira".

Since Lira lasts a max of 10 minutes on me, this is a great alternative, almost identical in my opinion! And it lasts and lasts and lasts…

In terms of P/L, it far surpasses Lira. However, Lira is a bit deeper and finer - and better in H/S, so I will have both :)

Definitely Lira vibes. But somehow better and more rounded. A lemon cake I would rather eat. Beautiful!

Sweet lemon cupcake with caramel filling that's to die for.
Similar to "Casamorati - Lira (Eau de Parfum) | XerJoff" H/S better.

Lira in beast mode :) The scents are almost identical, but this one feels like it's three times stronger. It fills the entire room.
