Inspired by Gourmand Coquin & Fève Gourmande
As a fan of chocolate scents, I was totally happy to have received a decant of this fragrance as a gift.
Apparently, this is an alternative to Gourmand Coquin and Fève Gourmande.
The scent starts off super alcoholic.
If you don't like the smell of rum, you definitely won't enjoy the opening.
Because the rum here is very realistic and extremely prominent, but at the same time, you can smell a dark chocolate that also smells super realistic.
Rose and pepper are completely overshadowed; I can't even perceive them with a lot of imagination.
In the dry down, the rum doesn't hit the nose as much, and it becomes a bit more chocolatey.
To describe it perfectly, I would say "Dark Chocolate, Rum, and Vanilla | The Dua Brand / Dua Fragrances" smells exactly like rum balls.
Very realistic, probably too edible for many to wear, but I absolutely love that kind of thing.
There's nothing to complain about regarding performance.
Sillage and longevity are top-notch, but it's not a beast.
Still, with a few sprays, you'll be noticed for a long time.
Although it's supposed to be a women's fragrance, I would still say it smells unisex to me.
Unfortunately, it's very hard to get.
I would only recommend it to people who love super realistic rum and chocolate in perfumes.
I personally just find it nice.
