Scent of the Day

This morning I decided to start with Rose Barbare again. Later this afternoon I decided to go for
Velvet Teddy (even if Rose Barbare hadn't worn off yet) to stay in the honey lane. I usually like Velvet Teddy but it wasn't necessarily the best choice after rose barbare. Now that it has settled a bit it is slightly better.
I find that this brand is criminally underrated in general, but this fragrance is often overlooked especially. If this was an alcohol-based spray from some niche brand charging $250 people would be fawning over it. It's a nice, dry, deserty amber with tones of molasses cookies 🍪
Wearing Angélique Noire today, while also testing
Iris Pallida Extrait 6 and
Vanille Planifolia Extrait 21 . I quite like the Iris Pallida extrait, it's nice and papery, grey toned powder with a buttery quality. I found the vanille one less to my preferences which was a surprise for me actually, it felt overloaded with licorice and resins and a peculiar off note reminiscent of Sharpie markers.

Testing AnOther 13 Eau de Parfum . I hate it. Welcoming tips for how to wash perfume off…
Wearing Chanel N°19 Poudré to chase away the Sunday Scaries. I hope you all have an excellent week!
I have doused myself in Shalimar Parfum Initial L'Eau. Thierry Wasser really hit the nail on the head with this one.
