Dark Gourmands 0

Anyone have any “dark gourmands” they love? I discovered Foxcroft Fairgrounds by Solstice Scents and love it but haven't found anything else like it. The base notes are earthy and incense-y while the rest of the notes are cotton candy, vanilla taffy, etc.

Addicted+ has a bit of a dark chocolate to it. Very nice gourmand.

And Notorious (2023)

Are 3 great gourmand from my favourite house ATH

and from Lorenzo Pazzaglia

Van Py Rhum

Xerjoff’s Tony Iommi Monkey Special is very nice also, even though it is not categorised as gourmand it certainly feels like one to me.

Carnival of Souls instantly popped in my head. It's exactly what I'd consider a dark gourmand. It has sweet, smokey incense, amber and violet, which would be the "dark" notes, that perfectly merge with the vanilla, mimosa and coconut. Easily one of my favorite fragrances

Oud, leather, and apple pie:

Rosé Noir

Dark, smoky chocolate gourmands:

Boccanera

Estrella de la Mañana

Écrin de fumée

Earthy/dirty patchouli and caramel:

Cool topic !
Immediately thought about Black Phantom - Memento Mori and Smoking Hot

I definitely agree with Rose Noir by Gallaguer's recommendation, and I would add Gourmand Oriental by Clive Christian.

"Ummagumma | Fzotic / Bruno Fazzolari"

I’m not sure what you mean by dark but this one smells precisely of Italian panetonne to me. Spicy, sweet, dense, bread.

Many patchoulis are shaped to be darkly chocolatey that feels gourmand to me. Patchouli Noir had a lovely dark minty-chocolate feel.

The sort of hybrids you recommend sound interesting ! Nothing similar comes to mind quite frankly.

There are a lot of perfumes which take "edible" notes in a dark direction though (cocoa powder, coffee, rhum).

I thought of Little Song - coffee's the main note, I don't know if that's enough to place it in the gourmand category (it certainly doesn't belong in the sugar caramel gourmand type category 😅)

Then there's... Dark , haven't smelled it yet (I will soon - heard good things about it being a very well done dark chocolate).

Plum in Cognac maybe ? It smells very drinkable to me - while still being unmistakably dark.

My suggestions are a bit of a stretch, but that's what came to mind Smile
