I was speechless…
To begin, I would like to start with the fragrance pyramid: The top note has this fruity and fresh direction, where you can really smell the mandarin. The following heart note is quite okay, although you can't really smell the rose. I can't say much bad about the base note. I just couldn't pick out the patchouli. It's also difficult due to the strong musk.
Personally, I can still smell the fragrance on my skin after 5 hours. It is spicy-woody and that’s exactly what makes it so masculine - definitely not a women's fragrance! Because it is so strong, I recommend no more than 3 sprays - more is not necessary! The sillage is good, but could be better. The bottle is unique, but the metal reflects a bit too much. The packaging is also very special.
What does the fragrance remind me of?
Since I received it from my father at Christmas and production has been discontinued, it has this old-school aspect. My father bought this fragrance in 2010 and kept it in his closet for years without using it. That’s why he thought it would be better cared for in my hands. Today it has a value of up to 300 CHF. At first, I found it disgusting and it reminded me of tick spray. That’s why I wasn't such a big fan. Nowadays, however, I wear it more often and have become friends with it. It fits particularly well in spring.
Conclusion: Overall, a very masculine fragrance with an extraordinary DNA that is very spicy-woody. Not a fragrance for women and also not for winter. Still, I would recommend it if you enjoy spicy and woody scents. I find it a very solid fragrance. It's just a shame that you can no longer buy it today and that it has become so expensive.
