Hmm, somehow I was hoping for more here
Violet Venom is quite a nice and beautiful fragrance to begin with.
Unfortunately, I don't really get any of the top notes listed. It actually starts directly with the heart notes, which I think is a bit of a shame. It also seems a bit trivial at times. So unfortunately it doesn't quite convince me.
As already mentioned, the fragrance starts with the heart notes.
Osmanthus and sandalwood clearly set the pace here.
The amber from the base also pushes forward well.
Very slight hints of orange blossom and possibly even a little neroli from the top note can be detected, but only subtly.
Over time, the fragrance develops minimal fruity notes.
It becomes increasingly creamy and warm. The amber now radiates properly here and the creamy sandalwood continues right through to the end.
Finally, some vanilla is also added.
The fragrance is definitely unisex wearable and has a solid performance. On my skin, the fragrance lasts about 7-8 hours.
The sillage is also completely fine.
All in all, not bad.
But I expected much more.
