Very helpful Review 11
Somewhere between fresh laundry in the wind and vacation under palm fronds
…I find Siracusa.
It is a feast for the nose.
Why does hardly anyone talk about you with the intensity that they talk about Duchessa?

Fundamentally, this may be a personal problem, but autumn and winter fragrances find their way to me much faster than anything fresh-floral-summery.
Siracusa was one of the first that grabbed me so much that I had to have it.

It is so special.
Somewhere between citrus, creaminess, and green (How the hell does palm leaf smell? Since Siracusa, I know. I am thrilled!) it skillfully finds the balance and envelops my mood with a surprisingly intense longevity and sillage for fresh fragrances.
It sets the tone for summer, palm trees, sun, beach vacation. At the same time, it has too much citrus to be one of the many sunscreen scents, although it brings a touch of that vibe. It has a pleasant freshness, but it is also not a pure fresh laundry scent.
It combines the best of all summer fragrances in this direction for me (except for fruit, that is categorically absent here) and thus excludes exactly what makes me avoid many perfumes labeled as summer scents. It is not too creamy, it has tension, it is fresh, but not too fresh…
For me, it makes an excellent impression in every situation in spring and summer, is never too loud or screaming, yet not too quiet and inconspicuous for the evening.
It is extraordinarily complete and perfectly balanced for me.
It definitely symbolizes one thing for me: the balanced middle ground between everything is not always boring.
I am thrilled.

A beautiful, clean fresh scent
Wow, the Siracusa has completely captivated me. This top note is simply unique and beautiful! Additionally, the scent lasts on my skin for well over 12 hours! The sillage is also quite successful.

The top note starts very fresh, creamy, sweet, and floral with a clean aroma that slightly reminds me of fabric softener. Fine citrus notes join in as well. The heart note remains creamy-sweet and reminds me of almond milk. Tiaré, lemon, and jasmine flowers provide a lovely floral quality. The base smells sweet and still creamy with bourbon vanilla, musk, and a hint of sandalwood. The scent is clean from start to finish and also somewhat reminds me of sunscreen.

Although the Siracusa is somewhat on the feminine side, it is truly wonderful as an overall composition! Many thanks to Will for the sample.

Emerald Collection #4
For summer, I was drawn to the blue Grittis that I definitely wanted to test. So far, the line has not disappointed me; all are great scents for summer with a distinctive DNA that is still pleasing. I can't yet say which one I like best here.

The Siracua stands out a bit from the rest. It is currently getting a lot of attention online, and I can understand why many are showcasing it due to its unique DNA.
All the ones I know so far lean towards a distinctly fresh and citrusy direction, while here the focus is on a creamy character, clearly heading towards sunscreen or "solar" notes, which can be seen even without smelling the fragrance.

At the beginning, I immediately get a fine lemon blossom, already creamy and delicately light floral. For me, it is not citrusy. But still, a nice lemon scent. Unfortunately, I cannot detect almond at all, and I don't smell it as the fragrance develops either. I can only vaguely sense palm leaf, which is not worth mentioning.
After 15 minutes, the creamy touch of the heart notes comes in. Tiare itself is already very creamy, but with the creamy notes, it is intensified to the point that the floral side of Tiare tends to fade. A hint of sweet vanilla can also be detected, but it remains consistently in the background.
In the base, a familiar combination of musk and sandalwood joins in.

Nevertheless, a freshness accompanies the fragrance progression, making it wearable even for warmer days despite this intense creaminess.
Yes, for me, the Siracua does have a resemblance to sunscreen, which makes it very suitable for summer. However, it is not a scent for hot days under a clear sky; it is too heavy, and in my opinion, the intense creamy side does not fit well with this weather.

It is not unbalanced, which I have read in statements often. But it doesn't really excite me either. For me, it becomes cloying in the drydown, which I do not like. It is not quite what I hope for from a summer fragrance.

Nevertheless, it is a very interesting scent; I don't know anything comparable, and it has been very well received in my circle, often with the comment that it really smells extraordinary. A nice fragrance progression is definitely present; the Siracusa is not straightforward.

The bottle is also beautiful; the shape is, in my opinion, a matter of getting used to, which does not come across in some pictures, but I like it. The cap also looks wonderful, and the turquoise color of the bottle already promises a pleasant freshness.

Again, an interesting fragrance from the turquoise Grittis. Those who enjoy creaminess should take a sniff here, but they should also like it sweet.

A fragrance that can be overwhelming
Siracusa starts off quite intensely. At first, I didn't even know what was hitting me, and my nose really crinkled up.

Then I gave it a second try, and it got a bit better, but it still packs a punch in the opening.
My first impression was:
"What is this? Somehow I sense something like chewing gum, while at the same time I thought of a sweet-fresh shisha tobacco, sweet almonds soaked in lemon, etc."
Yes... it's pretty crazy what my nose and my mind did to me.

So we definitely have lemon blossom listed here. This seems to be perceived as the citrusy, fresh component.
I would also highlight almonds, palm leaf, vanilla, musk, and creamy notes as the main accords that come together.

Overall, the fragrance feels very complex. Siracusa has a freshness, is citrusy, creamy, slightly sweet, and also floral.

As the scent develops, it becomes increasingly sweet.

I'm still unsure what to make of it. It's not bad, but does it excite me?
Tendentially, not really.
It's definitely a unique fragrance that one should try at least once.

Longevity and sillage are really good on my skin.

The Fresh Laundry Scent
Siracusa can be well described with the word "extraordinary." On one hand, the fragrance has a kind of sweet note (gum note), which probably comes from the almond - on the other hand, for me, it is also a great fresh laundry scent that fits perfectly in spring/summer and has good longevity. Despite the gum note, the fragrance is by no means unpleasant; rather, it makes it particularly special and gives it a slight "creaminess."

Dominated by a strong floral note, likely tiaré. Feminine and sharp, with average performance and a lack of olfactive balance.

Opens fresh & tropical fruity. Immediate dry-down creamy solar floral. Deep dry-down is poor (musk-sandalwood). Feminine, spring-summer.

A daring and in-your-face take on a sunscreen perfume! It’s fresh, sweet, a little creamy, absolutely tropical, and downright LOUD!

There’s something candylike (hard to place) about this, even though it’s not as in-your-face as Duchessa.

You want Tiare, you get Tiare! Too tropical and sultry for me to pass as fresh. Tropical fans will like it, but not me.

Different than expected (due to the bottle). Not citrus-fresh, but sweet-creamy-woody. Too unharmonious for me.

A sultry scent that smells like chewing gum and candy sweetness to me. Flowers and leaves are already quite wilted, the fruits overripe.
