The house of Gritti is known, at least by me, as a house that seems to create summery scents.
i was allowed to test
Pomelo Sorrento briefly, but I wasn't blown away by it. But I also have to say that I didn't really test the fragrance intensively. Nevertheless, it didn't strike me as a fragrance that would appeal to me.
I had only tested
Arancia Ambrata intensively, but that didn't really appeal to me either and now this candidate came under my nose.
At the beginning, you are greeted by a lovely, fresh start that is also slightly creamy at the same time.
You immediately get summer vacation vibes! Lying under a palm tree, the sun shining and enjoying life. Pure summer vacation! Summer, sun, sunshine!
It's slightly creamy, citrusy and as silly as it sounds, the fragrance is reminiscent of a palm leaf.
Unfortunately, I hardly notice the almond note, but the vanilla note is perceptible in the background and rounds off this whole summery flair completely well.
Pure summer! Really a pleasure so far and makes you want to go on summer vacation!
Over time, a sweetness is added, but it is not as annoying, unbearable or even penetrating as with other fragrances Some note makes the fragrance super delicious and therefore special. but unfortunately I can't define exactly what it is, whether it's the creamy notes or tiare, I can't say for sure.
The fragrance still radiates the citrus paired with a creaminess, but a minimal floral note is now also added and all this is supported by a wonderful vanilla note.
Really super successful! Up to this point, the fragrance really is a wonderful summer scent!
Over time, a certain solar note is added and this is the first damper for the fragrance, because it is annoying and also pungent.
But in the fresh air, this note tends to fade into the background, yet overall the fragrance is just great and the fact that it is still perceptible after about 2-3 hours is surprisingly good for a summer fragrance, especially when you compare it with the other summer fragrances from the house that I have been able to test so far.
Over time, the fragrance becomes creamier and creamier and now dominates more and more. The citrusy notes also recede more. But the creaminess still gives you a light summer vibe.
In the drydown, the fragrance now becomes minimally smoky and the sandalwood note gives the fragrance a gentle finish. The creaminess is still there but now rather subtle.
I was also surprised that the fragrance really lasted all day on my skin.
Really impressive for a summer fragrance and damn rare.
I think the fragrance is super successful and this one solar note was the only negative thing I noticed, but fortunately it tends to fade into the background in the fresh air.
But the performance for a summer fragrance is really excellent and in combination with the fact that it is really well made and also smells great, I hope it will move in with me for the summer at the latest.
Oh, I'm already looking forward to summer :-)))
