Taster Round TWO....
Because of the Gritti brand, I drove an extra 1 1/2 hours to get to know the brand in a cute little perfumery. There was nowhere else to test Gritti.
So let's get in the car and off we go.
This was the first fragrance from Gritti that I tested.
Smelled it, bought it. Fits.
But then I didn't like it anymore. I could hardly believe how my decision could be so shaky. What was I thinking ️
So now it's been standing around again for about 1/2 year. I used it in the summer. But only like this....
A few days ago, I saw a video talking about the fragrance.
So I thought to myself: "Gosh, it sounds soooo good! How can I not like it? It doesn't even exist."
I jumped into my fragrance room (no, it's a study with an altar of fragrances) and sprayed it on. Once again, I used more than usual. Usually I spray about 4 times. This time: double the dose.
And suddenly I liked it. Before, the scent evaporated and I couldn't find anything appealing about it. But now...oh yes, now I'm addicted to it. The beautiful apricot-colored peach that dips its cheeks in a caramel-cream pool...incredible. Subtle vanilla present and the cashmeran-white musk note (if that's the one I'm picking up) is so beautiful! Seems minimally leathery but in a creamy way. It lasted in super performance for about 8 hours. After that it was still noticeable until the evening hours.
Oh great. What can I say. Sometimes you should give fragrances a second chance.
