fruity but make it classy

Éclectique is the perfect introduction for anyone who is not familiar with the Gritti DNA.

It starts with a fruity explosion. A blend of strawberry & coconut dances on the skin, zesty and playful. Then comes the typical heliotrope overdose, which adds a powdery touch with hints of almond & vanilla. Jasmine and blackcurrant provide a floral freshness that keeps the fragrance beautifully balanced, never too sweet. In the end, a fluffy cloud of vanilla and musk remains.

Despite the sweet notes, Éclectique is never sticky or too heavy; rather, it has that luxurious, floral radiance that makes Gritti fragrances so special.
The longevity is excellent, and the sillage is pleasantly present without being overwhelming.

After "Gossip Night | Gritti," Éclectique is another addictive scent. Éclectique is playful yet elegant - and definitely a fragrance that collects compliments!

I had almost given up...

... finding a fruity scent for myself. The usual candidates like "Kirkè (Extrait de Parfum) | Tiziana Terenzi," "Erba Pura | XerJoff," or Crème de Cuir Eau de Parfum are too sweet, too synthetic for me. Way too overripe fruit.

Well, with the pyramid of "Éclectique | Gritti," I was torn. It could go back in that overripe, synthetic fruit basket direction. Or it could highlight fruits with the Gritti DNA.

When the sample arrived, I was in love after the first spray. FRESH fruits with delicate flowers. Especially the typically powdery Gritti heliotrope gives the fragrance a lovely lightness.

I can smell the strawberry very well together with the melon at the beginning. After about 10 minutes, it turns more into a fresh smoothie with underlying citrus notes and a tiny bit of acidity from the currant. The coconut is subtle for me in the background and makes the scent nicely creamy.

On my skin, the longevity is about 5 to 6 hours. On clothing, it lasts all day.

I have found MY fruity-floral scent and I love it!

Fruit Basket in Summer

When I first saw the fragrance notes, I was really skeptical and feared it would be a new Erba Pura knockoff, but that's not the case at all; on the contrary. I've rarely smelled something so fruity. The opening starts with a lovely strawberry and watermelon. As it develops, it becomes increasingly zesty and tart due to the bergamot and blackcurrant, until a creamy coconut and vanilla note joins in at the end. For me, it's an absolutely successful summer fragrance for women that doesn't come off as sticky or cloying at all.

The longevity and sillage are quite good for me, but they could perhaps be a tad better for the price. Since the fragrance belongs to the White Collection by Gritti, it is naturally not as expensive as the other scents.

I don't think I need to say much about the bottle. I LOVE the Gritti bottles from the White Collection. They look so high-quality and sweet with that lovely marble on the cap and the beautiful golden details.

In summary, I can say that this will definitely be one of my summer fragrances that I would hate to miss. For me, it's absolutely successful and I would recommend it again and again.

Summer - interpreted quite differently.

Éclectique convinced me immediately. I was presented with it in the perfumery I trust and knew that this was the scent of the evening for me, even though it is a designated women's fragrance. - So what.
Let's get into the details.
The presentation is, as is usual with Gritti, top-notch. Everything fits together and creates a high-quality, noble impression.
Now to the scent itself.
Immediately after spraying, I am greeted by a wonderfully soft, sweet fruit cocktail, with strawberry and melon being the most prominent notes for me.
After a few moments, I sense a slightly bitter note, which I attribute to bergamot.
As it develops, the fruit notes (blackcurrant?) change and the overall impression becomes creamier, silkier.
In the drydown, the freshness of the bergamot remains noticeable for a long time, before it also unfolds into a sweet creaminess.
Is this purely a women's fragrance? Not for me - but I can understand if it is perceived as such. I am usually not a big fan of overly intense creaminess - but here it works perfectly for me.
What I like about Éclectique is that it is a summer scent without being a freshie. For me, it fills a gap that I really appreciate. Anyone who sees me and then is shown this scent will likely not assume that it fits together. But I love surprises!
If I have to point out a weakness in Éclectique, it might be the longevity. I am satisfied with it (about 6 hours), but I have a dear friend for whom the scent is only present for about 2-3 hours.
What I like about Éclectique is that it is not a loud scent, which often comes at the expense of longevity.
Conclusion: even men can dare to try this scent if they are looking for an elegant summer fragrance. I like it very much.

Eissorbet in Pastel

At first, I think, oh no, this could be a drugstore scent, strawberry/peach smoothie, hopefully it won't turn out too synthetic, squeaky, like Burberry Her Elixir. But then it becomes fluffy and light like a sorbet, and I think of an ice cream parlor with spacious seating. The tables and chairs are white, the seat cushions in mint green, aquamarine blue, and rose. The peach, which is probably a melon after all, must be honeydew, and the strawberry is the most prominent for me, with coconut flakes garnishing everything. I think of Mom's paradise cream, which she made for me every day in summer in all flavors. A delicate dessert scent, thank goodness without the synthetic notes found in Theodoros Kalotinis' fragrances. A lovely scent that invites reapplication, but due to the price, it's not a candidate for purchase for me.
