It stands in the shadow of the Pomelo Sorrento, but it is also beautiful
Tangerina is a fragrance from the house of Gritti which has always been somewhat under the radar due to Pomelo Sorrento. The Pomelo Sorrento was and is of course a big hit. It was also constantly mentioned and hyped. Unfortunately, other fragrances are sometimes overlooked and Tangerina is one of them. This fragrance also has a lot to offer and is perfectly refreshing in summer.
Tangerina starts directly with a mix of two citrus fruits.
A wonderful mandarin and lemon. The peels of the two fruits are particularly noteworthy here. The zest of a citrus fruit always has a wonderful aroma and in the case of Tangerina, this comes across really well.
I also get a very light neroli touch, even though there is no neroli listed.
In addition, we have this slightly tart but refreshing ginger note.
Jasmine is also recognizable, but only subtly. For me, it rather just accompanies the fragrance and rounds it off nicely.
The progression is quite linear for me, but I think that's really good in this case.
Caramel is listed in the base, but as hard as I try and stimulate my imagination, I still definitely can't recognize any caramel. To be honest, I think that's a good thing. It's a simple summer fragrance and I personally don't need any sweet caramel.
All in all, a really successful fragrance for the summer.
You can wear it really well and it's definitely worth a test.
