Review based on a few sample bottles
Received some samples, as it was highly praised by the salesperson, as being what I looked for, an Abdul Samad Al Qurashi alternative (spolier, it is not; maybe just being more expensive)
Although the first note is Rose' ish, the Longevity is really bad. Sprayed on skin, it gets to the final note in like 20 Minutes. Last note is very intimate and very feminine, and it can be smelled after 5- 6 hours, but it was worn during leisuring, so no activity/ sweating.
I don't get it why it's advertised as being 'Unisex' , as to my nose, this is for a lady in her mid to late 30' s, maybe early 40' s.
So, for Taif Rose, I hope there are better options, as this one being 'a limited edition ' apparently garnishes it having an obscene price - and yes, I know, real Rose perfumes are time intensive to make, thus expensive.
Silage is also moderate, like 2 arms length for the first note, afterwards intimate.
I don't know if the 'Cologne Intense' means it has lower concentration compared to f.e. EDP (would explain the poor performance) .

Nostalgic, romantic, kinda cute
This perfume reminds me of Good Old Fashioned Loverboy by Queen. Something about the rose notes layered over what seems to be green coffee and chocolate screams Valentine’s Day, but I plan to wear this year-round. This is NOT a Soliflore; rather than just rose, it’s bringing you a bouquet of roses and a set of handmade chocolates in a heart shaped box.

I am done with this brand!
- The scent: Opening is a disappointing dupe for Taif Aoud Parfum. Also reminds me of Café Rose (2023) and Rose Épicée a little bit. It's a little creamier (like a skin cream) and smokier version of the traditional rose water. Nothing new, nothing special, nothing exciting. I'd speak about the dry down but.......

- Performance: No dry down since it's simply gone in a few minutes. Are they serious with this sillage and longevity? I am used to over-spraying jo malone fragrances and refreshing every hour since they can't seem to get their performance right. But this bad?! For this price point?! It's a joke.

I am done with this brand.

Warm coffee ambra rose embrace with strong H/S!
The fragrance "Taif Rose" from one of my favorite houses Jo Malone London has achieved two things at once - the enthusiasm about it drives me to write my first review here and it also managed to make me, as an actual rose skeptic, order two bottles of this limited edition directly.

With an exceptionally strong longevity & sillage for JML (8h on skin, at least 24h on clothes), I was immediately embraced by the enchanting coffee, amber, rose combination when I first tested this fragrance.
A brief research explained this familiar, cozy feeling - Marie Salamagne has already managed to capture me several times with her creations. First and foremost "Mimosa & Cardamom", one of my favorite fragrances, which hugs me like a protective sweater and has already carried me through many a working night in the intensive care unit. And "Taif Rose" triggers exactly the same feeling in me - enveloping, warm, protective, soft.

Due to its high radiance, this fragrance is actually rather unsuitable for my work area, but it has been with me in everyday life for a few weeks now and I wouldn't want to be without it. Maybe I'll have to get a third bottle after all...

A big recommendation from me if you like warm, opulent rose/coffee fragrances!
I wish you something! :)

Great linear rose scent. Not overly sweet or powdery like they tend to be. I don't get coffee or amber, but that's fine with me.

Jammy rosewater, too sweet for me. I quite enjoy the middle, the coffee helps to balance it, but the opening and closing are not for me.
