Really now?
I was very excited that there was going to be an Absolue, and that’s exactly why I wandered into the Müller in the small town. To get an authentic impression, I sprayed it on.
I had hoped for something that comes close to Le Parfum and the Elixir. What I got was a relatively dry saffron in the top note, which then becomes rosy-orange and settles into the endless range of rather dull orange blossom-rose scents in the drydown. That’s about it. Exciting is different, and it’s really a shame that because of this kind of crowd-pleaser, which you often get in the designer segment without differentiation, the good versions are pushed to the side and eventually fade away unnoticed.
Really now, Mr. Morillas, you can actually do better, more refined, and more creative. It’s a pity because a lot can be extracted from the original Flower. Just this does not belong to the good results.
