The longevity is almost a cheekiness
I actually hadn't planned to publish a review today. When I mentioned Solo Esencial full of praise in the Parfumo Ticker about 4 hours ago, I had no idea that the scent would fade so quickly. The fact is that the fragrance becomes very close to the skin after 2-3 hours, and after a maximum of 5 hours, I can't perceive anything at all. Am I scent-blind today? Well, this morning I still reviewed Samba and I can still smell it. This afternoon, I assessed Samba Nova Femme and the scent is still there. And in the afternoon, a miniature of my beloved Woman No. 1 arrived - logically, that can still be smelled as well. All were applied beforehand. So I wouldn't attribute any scent blindness to myself. After all, the sillage was still quite good at the beginning. However, in the end, that's still too little, even though I really like the scent...

The top note starts fruity, green, floral, and herbal. Here I recognize tangerine, lavender, mint, rosemary, mate tea, and limes. The heart note offers a certain creaminess and oranges - I immediately think of Solero ice cream. The base provides sweet, creamy, and vanillic nuances, reminding me of almond milk and tonka beans.

In the end, somehow disappointment prevails. I definitely can't see a comparison to Armani Code (2004) Eau de Toilette - no idea who listed this similarity here.

Another Flanker from Solo Loewe - Was it necessary?
To answer the question right away: In this case, yes!

Of course, the origin of the original Solo cannot be denied here, but fortunately, it is only very rudimentary. Nevertheless, it is an independent representative in the now 8-member family of Solos.

While the first 4 flankers were more at the drugstore level (with the exception of Solo E.d.C. Extrème), I found myself enjoying the Pop version at the latest, which stood out from the crowd with its beautiful, unusually dominant lavender accord; unfortunately, it seems to have been discontinued, well then...

The second revelation for me was Solo Sport, with its opulent mandarin-heavy synthetic charm, and now I have another nose-pleaser in Solo Loewe Esencial.

The fragrance starts fresh-fruity, with the tangerine dominating for me, while lime, mate, and mint add a bit of summer cocktail attitude. These notes last quite a while, and only after a good hour does the warm-spicy heart of the fragrance begin to kick in. Rosemary, thyme, and lavender give S.L.E. a Mediterranean touch and create a bridge towards the brilliantly crafted Esencia for me. However, they are softer and less herbal compared to this.

The further development is initiated by the spice accords of cardamom and nutmeg, which blend pleasantly with incense, tonka, patchouli, and guaiac wood into a subtly spicy-earthy base. For me, there is also a slight nod to Loewe 001 Man here, although S.L.E. is lighter and more restrained in comparison.

Conclusion:
A successful all-round fragrance that does not offend, wearable for many occasions (except at temperatures >35°C)
Certainly not a milestone, but still, in my opinion, one of the Solis from Loewe that definitely has its right to exist.

The longevity for me is around 6-7 hours, and the sillage is rather subtle. Opinions are somewhat divided on the bottle; if the cap were not a simple, completely open wire cube, but perhaps adorned with transparent plastic on the front sides, it would a) be easier to handle and b) look more substantial.

Solo Essential is a softer Chanel AHSEE. Fresh opening with tangerine and mint. Lavender, spices and tonka bean that gives a creamy feel.

Slightly cloying fruity-sweet opening, but a quite nice creamy end lingering as a skin scent.

It's really great. AHS Extreme in fruitier, like in Hawas. Very smooth, pleasing and maybe even better than the Chanel.

It's way closer to the original Solo than it is to Allure Homme Eau Extreme. Having tried both, I prefer the Loewe.

Tonka blast with plenty of spice, even more mint, and too much sweetness for me. It left my orchestra and now plays solo elsewhere ;)

Yes, it’s very sweet, but only when you smell it up close.
The sillage is quite pleasant.
Spicy-sweet with light woody notes.

First green-spicy and citrusy, exciting; then it becomes softer, leaving behind a slightly sweet Guajac sauce.
