Fresh and Funky
This must be what an temple in India smells like. Numerous colorful wreaths made from jasmine and marigolds laid at the feet of the gods. This is a thick white floral you can sink your teeth into. Its very indolic and it would be too funky for some but the marigold adds gives it a heart of citrus and green notes, with a hint of spiciness. Its a little bit of freshness to give depth to what would be a fairly linear fragrance.

This fragrance lasted all day, over 7 hours and the projection is fairly strong. A 100ml will cost you €275 and a 18ml is €90. Definitely a must have for persons who love a funky white floral.

Bananas make you happy
this scent can do that too.

Last month he came into my life. The nice salesman at the Beck in Munich sprayed him first on a small card and then on multiple desire of a single customer, my hand was sprayed.
Smiling happily, I joined the rest of my unit for a cup of coffee and a piece of cake and then immediately stormed the nice salesman to buy the fragrance.

At home, I researched what this delightfully pleasant fragrance experience brings me.

It's not that simple, because I see bananas where there aren't any. None at all. Not at all.
It's not the ripe banana I smell either - it should be a green one. The scent sample at the fruit stand today did not confirm this.
My other idea was the banana in Kaba, the plantation potion - I bought a special package for it. Opened up and sniffed at it - also completely wrong. (Hopefully soon visit again with children who are not only nutritionally valuable nourished.)

My days on the farm are probably tired from the long summer and smell just as little as my miserable jasmine.
So I don't have a reference object that could help me.

Tagete starts and remains flowery. As with all fragrances of this brand, "staying" is taken seriously and loosely lasts twelve hours or longer. Tagete and Jasmin are an exquisite melange for my nose, in which both beauties are equal partners.
The vetiver is hidden or under the surface. He gives depth to the fragrance and takes away the cute one.
Musk, on the other hand, I can't tell.

For me, he's independent of the seasons. It does not become obtrusive with heat, but does not crumble at cooler temperatures.

I associate some positive childhood experience with "Tagete", but I doubt I can find out what it is.
Because I like the fragrance as it is, it gives him the opportunity to establish himself with his own memories.

Aphid scare included
I used to have Tagetes in the garden frequently as a deterrent against aphids to protect roses and other greenery. That worked quite well. Except I always found that the colors of the Tagetes - from yellow to orange to orange-brown - didn't go so well with the colors of my roses. And Tagetes stink.... doesn't smell that pleasant, in my opinion. So I eventually switched to lavender.

And with Tagetes starts "Tagete" what else. I pondered after spraying on, whether T had actually stood on my watch list, and if so why, or whether it was "just so" a friendly addition of Daisy, because I had already tried other Profumum Roma ... Anyway, after spraying it on, unpleasant tagetes hits my nose first, and I'm glad I only gave it two short sprays on my wrist. Great, probably also still durable until midnight.

My wrist disregarding first once coffee put on and to the dog round outside. At breakfast then times carefully sniffed in the direction of the wrist and ... ohhh! The jasmine has come to the fore and smells finely floral, slightly sweet and with a delicate tart hint, which probably still comes from the Tagetes. Even though this hint is still fading, the jasmine remains soft and delicate and not at all radiant and demanding. With time, a slight musky powderiness joins in and maybe there's a hint of vetiver green in there somewhere, but I'm not really sure. The sillage is overall in the middle to lower range, the durability is about 8 hours.

My suggestion would be, immediately after spraying on first a while to stroll through the garden to scare any aphids.

I thank Daisy for the testing opportunity

Budapest 2024
You probably know this too...you go on vacation and you associate certain memories with it...sometimes nice, sometimes not so nice...it can be food, it can be the hotel, the people you meet and...scents of course.

Over Whitsun we went to Budapest this time...beautiful city...honestly, you have to see it. During a short breather I discovered a magical little perfumery with Profumum Roma fragrances and I said to myself "hey...you've always wanted to try Ichnusa" so I went in...my boyfriend waved me off...he loves fragrances but doesn't really have the muse to look for them, so I went in alone while he sat outside.

Oh yes...me in my element...these are the moments when I wish I was an Indian deity with lots and lots of arms. Ichnusa disappointed me somehow, I have to admit, even though it has fig in it, but nope...this fig scent was not for me...

I don't know how long I was in there...probably twenty minutes, as I didn't want to be rude I went out to see my friend. The plan was also to let the fragrances I had sprayed on myself take effect and then go back into the store. So I sat down next to him and he was like "boah...it smells good"...I was like "uh...which one, I have six different ones on me"...a quick sniff and he was like "this one"...and was literally glued to my left forearm. He ran straight into the perfumery, I followed and asked which one it was, I pointed to Tagete and he said "bought it!" So my boyfriend is anything but an impulse buyer...and yet he left the store with three new fragrances...hihihi...

Tagete opens with a concentrated load of blossom that makes you dizzy and you think...boah no, but you have to let it work and give it time...after ten minutes the jasmine comes through on my skin with the oakmoss, floral green spicy and stays like this for about six to seven hours and at the end a fine but subtle sweetness is added.

For me, this is a fragrance that you can wear every day at any time of year...morning, noon, evening...I wouldn't over-spray it...three sprays at most and it easily lasts until the end of the day...
