God's perfume

I like this, it's a clean smell. I imagine with elegant clothes, in office in event
.. it's floral but unisex, sexy, very clean.
This perfume is long in skin, about 12 hours with punch
It's a top quality, for all season

Fresh and Funky

This must be what an temple in India smells like. Numerous colorful wreaths made from jasmine and marigolds laid at the feet of the gods. This is a thick white floral you can sink your teeth into. Its very indolic and it would be too funky for some but the marigold adds gives it a heart of citrus and green notes, with a hint of spiciness. Its a little bit of freshness to give depth to what would be a fairly linear fragrance.

This fragrance lasted all day, over 7 hours and the projection is fairly strong. A 100ml will cost you €275 and a 18ml is €90. Definitely a must have for persons who love a funky white floral.

Bananas Make You Happy

this scent can do that too.

Last month, it entered my life. The nice salesperson at Beck in Munich first sprayed it on a card and then, at the repeated request of a single customer, sprayed it on my hand.
Smiling happily, I joined the rest of my group for coffee and a piece of cake, only to rush back to the nice salesperson right after to purchase the fragrance.

At home, I then investigated what this wonderfully pleasant scent experience was all about.

It's not so simple, as I perceive bananas where there are none. Not at all. Not even a little.
It's also not the ripe banana that I smell - it must be a green one. The scent sample today at the fruit stand did not confirm that.
My other idea was the banana in Kaba, the plantation drink - I even bought a pack for that. Opened it and took a sniff - completely off. (Hopefully, visitors with children who are not only fed in a nutritionally valuable way will come by soon.)

My tagetes in the garden are probably tired from the long summer and smell just as little as my pitiful jasmine.
Thus, I have no reference object that could help me.

Tagetes starts and remains floral. The "remaining" is taken seriously, as with all fragrances from this brand, and lasts easily twelve hours or more. Tagetes and jasmine create an exquisite blend for my nose, where both beauties are equal partners.
The vetiver is background or underground. It gives the scent depth and takes away its cuteness.
Musk, on the other hand, I cannot detect.

For me, it is independent of the seasons. It is not intrusive in warmth, yet it does not fade away in cooler temperatures.

I associate some positive childhood experience with "Tagetes," but I doubt I can figure out what it is.
Because I like the scent as it is, it gets the opportunity to establish itself with my own memories.

Aphid Repellent Included

I used to have marigolds in the garden as a deterrent against aphids to protect my roses and other greenery. It worked quite well. However, I always thought that the colors of the marigolds - from yellow to orange to orange-brown - didn't match the colors of my roses very well. And marigolds smell... not so pleasant, in my opinion. So eventually, I switched to lavender.

And with marigolds, "Tagete" starts, what else. I pondered after spraying whether T had actually been on my wishlist, and if so, why, or if it was just a friendly addition from Daisy because I had already tried other Profumum Roma fragrances... Anyway, after spraying, I am first hit with an unpleasant marigold scent, and I am glad that I only applied two short sprays to my wrist. Great, probably lasting until midnight as well.

Disregarding my wrist, I first made coffee and went outside for a walk with the dog. During breakfast, I cautiously sniffed towards my wrist and... ohhh! The jasmine has come to the forefront and smells beautifully floral, slightly sweet, and with a delicate bitter hint, likely still from the marigold. Even if this hint fades, the jasmine remains soft and delicate, not at all radiant and demanding. Over time, a light musk powderiness joins in, and maybe there's a hint of vetiver green somewhere, but I'm not really sure about that. The sillage is overall in the medium to lower range, and the longevity is about 8 hours.

My suggestion would be to take a stroll through the garden right after spraying to scare off any aphids that may be present.

You probably know this too... you go on vacation and associate it with certain memories... some nice, some less nice... it can be food, it can be the hotel, the people you meet, and... fragrances, of course.

Over Pentecost, I went to Budapest this time... beautiful city... honestly, it’s a must-see. During a short break, I discovered a charming little perfumery with Profumum Roma fragrances and I thought to myself "hey... you’ve always wanted to try Ichnusa" so I went in... my friend waved it off... he loves fragrances but doesn’t really have the patience to look for them, so I went in alone while he sat outside.

Ah yes... I in my element... those are the moments when I wish to be an Indian deity with a looooot of arms. Ichnusa somehow disappointed me, I must honestly admit, even though it contains fig, but no... this fig scent was not for me...

I don’t know how long I was in there... definitely twenty minutes, and since I didn’t want to be rude, I went out briefly to my friend. The plan was also to let the fragrances I had sprayed on settle before going back into the store. So I sat down next to him and he said "wow... that smells good"... I replied "uh... which one, I have six different ones on me"... a quick sniff and he said "this one" and was practically glued to my left forearm. He went straight back into the perfumery and I followed, wondering which one it was, I pointed to Tagete and he said "sold!" So my friend is anything but an impulsive buyer... and yet he left the store with three new fragrances... hehehe...

Tagete opens with a powerful burst of flowers that makes you dizzy and you think... oh no, but you have to let it develop and give it time... after ten minutes, jasmine with oak moss comes through on my skin, floral, green, spicy, and it lasts about six to seven hours, and in the end, a fine but subtle sweetness joins in.

For me, this is a fragrance that can be worn every day in any season... morning, noon, evening... I wouldn’t over-spray it... a maximum of three sprays and it easily lasts until the end of the workday...
