Giardino di Boboli Limited Edition is a very elegant fragrance for me, immediately evoking a walk through an Italian garden.

The opening is fresh and green with a lovely lightness. The combination of citrus notes and green accords feels invigorating without being too overpowering. After a short time, the fragrance becomes softer and takes on a beautiful floral and lightly creamy note.

What I particularly like is the fragrance's natural, well-groomed character. It feels high-quality, but not overloaded. Rather calm, stylish and pleasantly unobtrusive. The woody and musky base gives the fragrance a beautiful finish and ensures that it remains pleasantly on the skin for a long time.

A fragrance that, for me, is perfect for spring and summer and impresses with its elegant freshness. A truly successful Limited Edition

I haven't tried the regular Giardino di Boboli yet, but the Limited Edition is like a green garden in Italy after a warm summer rain. Everywhere, it smells of fresh lemon peels and crisp green leaves. The opening is very fresh and invigorating, almost as if you were walking through an avenue of lemon trees.

Unfortunately, the garden up close resembles more of a beautiful backdrop. The green is reminiscent of freshly mowed artificial turf rather than a wild meadow, and the citrus notes become somewhat artificial over time. Everything is clean and pleasing, but it lacks a bit of natural depth.

A beautiful, green, and citrusy fragrance that evokes a desire for summer - however, more like a perfectly maintained botanical garden than nature itself.

Longevity and sillage for a summer fragrance are very good!!!

I was quite swept away by the many, many comments here and elsewhere on the internet, and the words "better than the regular, worlds better, upgrade, etc." kept going through my mind, and I absolutely needed it since I already like the old one.

So my expectations were incredibly high, and I was expecting the holy grail. Especially since I always go for Extraits. I love Extraits.

The fragrance arrived, the joy was immense, and the expectations were through the roof. Then the first spray... my nose told me, okay... it's okay... okaaaaaaay. My head told me, you're mistaken, it has to be amazing, you just need to wait a moment... in my head, "wait, wait, wait" echoed. Smelled it again, and my nose was like, "it's okay, I've smelled worse." It's fine.

Please don't misunderstand. The scent is quite okay, but worlds better than the regular? No. An upgrade? Hmm, yes and no. Less piercing, but nicer in scent, not for me. Everyone says a garden in Florence. Those associations were already present with the OG. I agree here too, BUT for me, it's a garden in Florence in the morning, where it rained at night and is still damp in the morning.

About the scent:
The opening is minty green with a lot of shower gel vibes. Very fresh.
The mint disappears quite quickly for me, and it remains green and herbaceous citrus until the end.
The longevity is very, very, very good. The sillage is not phenomenal but decent in the first hours.

Even after showering, it was still detectable on my skin.

For me, it's a bit Greenley regarding the shower gel aspect with a touch of the regular di Boboli for the green notes. But I miss the apple.

Is it worth the money? Hmm. Considering that the regular one is available on sale for about €140, which is also very green floral and has good longevity/sillage, and this one costs €265 and is, in my eyes, just a slight upgrade and not a completely different scent... rather no. For collectors or velvet lovers, it might be the one.
I don't want to question the opinions of others here; I just want to say that maybe not everyone experiences it like I do, that you absolutely have to have this and that there are worlds in between, and the expectations are so high that they might not be fulfilled.

If you have the opportunity, you should test it and consider whether the extra cost is worth it.

I will now use it properly and eventually get the OG again.
