Surprisingly enjoyable
I bought a discovery set and I got to pick my samples. I knew what other 5 I was going to chose, so I picked quickly, and this one was my "plug," basically just because I'd never heard anyone talk about it. I made the right choice, and I was in for a total surprise!
I did not enjoy the opening at all. I remember thinking -"Phew! So glad I don't like this one. I certainly don't need more fragrances." Something happened to this one about 20 minutes in though, and it's fantastic. I feel like there are additional spicy type notes not listed in the mid because there's definitely something spicy going on, and it's not the clove. Sospiro does have a way with clove though - they do it so well! I don't particularly care for it, but Sospiro wraps it in there in such a way that you don't even know it's there.
The only thing I will say is that it does not give me the projection/sillage that I have came to know and love from the house. I really wish it did though because this one is an overlooked gem.
