An innovative "blouse" that breaks couture tradition
The fragrance begins with the delicate spice of bay rose, and then bergamot gives way to the elegant elegance of rose. The exquisite role of angelica is noteworthy in this fragrance. Its slightly dry, aromatic nuances add an edge of urban independence to the sweetness of rose.

The harmony of angelica and cashmeran seems to escort the modern amber woody notes into a more sophisticated impression.

"Why this blouse?" I asked myself when trying the scent, and the answer lay in the texture. This rose is not simply a "pretty flower." It feels as if it is expressed as the texture of chiffon flowing over the skin. The transition from bergamot to rose, and the cashmeran, are like the smoothness of silk gliding across the skin.

While maintaining the femininity of rose, Angelica brings a "slightly cool and independent strength" that radiates the urban modernity of Saint Laurent, like wearing a blouse on bare skin under a tuxedo. The smooth movement towards the final Cashmeran evokes the sensual warmth of fine fabric touching bare skin.

I Never Wore a Blouse!
"Yes, yes,... of course you don't wear blouses!" you're probably saying now. "... after all, you're a man!"
Yes, that may be true, but did you know that originally, a blouse did not always refer to those loose and... sometimes even slightly transparent (aaaah...! :D) tops for women, but simply to loosely hanging garments that were also worn by peasants, knights, sailors, and so on?

But no, of course, you ladies had to come along at some point and claim this piece of clothing just for yourselves, supposedly to make life easier for us guys, since we would have one less type of garment to learn how to iron (though you probably meant that we guys have no clue about fashion and could do without blouses!). Well, there is some truth to that: I actually hate ironing and have my difficulties with certain garments like shirts (aaaaargh, ironing shirts always means the end of the world for me!!!), so I'm glad I don't have to iron blouses. And do you even iron blouses? You see, I have no clue again...!!

Anyway, the fragrance was named after a blouse... because it smells like one? I don't even know if blouses can smell different from other garments?? Well, if a woman is wearing the blouse, then maybe it does smell nicer... than if a guy were wearing it... uuuurgh....!

Well, welcome to my commentary on "Blouse" from Yves Saint Laurent's "Le Vestiaire" collection.

The Fragrance:
At the beginning, you actually smell exactly what is listed in the top notes here. Green-bitter and herbal galbanum, sweet-spicy pink pepper, and a hint of lemon (or rather bergamot). But soon, the roses make their appearance. In the background, there is a scent note that I can't identify; it's certainly the interplay of the various notes, but it leans towards coriander. However, this doesn't last too long and disappears after the top notes.
A little later, the fragrance smells powdery-sweet (probably due to soft notes like cashmeran). You can still smell pink pepper, and now the roses become more pronounced. A bit of musk also slowly appears. The green notes are now far in the background and continue to fade away.
In the end, the fragrance remains soft and slightly sweet, smelling beautifully of light roses and still of musk with a lingering hint of unidentifiable flowers in the background.

The Sillage and Longevity:
The sillage is above average and should be noticeable for a while to everyone nearby. The longevity is also above average, lasting about six to eight hours depending on the dosage before it weakens significantly.

The Bottle:
The bottle is rectangular, tall, and made of thick glass. The label is white and square and quite simple. Overall, the entire look of the bottle is quite simple and clear, fitting in with the exclusive fragrance lines of Dior, Chanel, and similar brands, but it looks much better to me. The cap is cylindrical and has a nice tactile pattern. A simple but beautiful bottle.

Okay, so the "blouse fragrance" here turned out to be not so bad at all. Well, you should like roses, as they are the main theme here, especially since they have an intense scent in the middle part. They smell soft due to the gentle notes, which makes for a more pleasant perception. However, I still find that the fragrance is mostly not that special, as it is just another rose scent that only slightly distinguishes itself from other rose scents by occasionally coming off as herbal and green.

It is wearable like an all-rounder, but it may tend more towards warm days. By the way, it is less suitable for going out, as it might come off as rather unspectacular despite its nice scent (you just have to try it), but it could be well worn at work due to its pleasant fragrance.

So do blouses smell like this? Well... as I said, I have no idea, since I have no way to sniff blouses (especially with a lady in one :DD),... and I'm certainly not going to go into town to sniff blouses in a women's department... I already have a hard time with women, they don't need to think I'm some possibly ridiculous or even perverse freak,... :DD Waaaah! No, no,... :D

Well then, that's it again! Have a nice evening, see you later :)

Morning walk in the park. Citrusy opening and a dewy-rosy heart. Puristic, clear, not too woody. Not new, but charming.

Dreamy, fruity-fresh rose-musk blend with that special something. Feminine, yes, but I don't care + lasts well. Nice!

Delina is less sweet & oriental, but greener and fresher. The angelica note gives the fragrance the twist that sets it apart from Delina.
