A big thank you goes out to the esteemed Parfumo "Jandem80"!
Without his generous decant that he gifted me, I would have likely missed this fragrance for a while.
I had had it on my radar for some time and was accordingly curious.
My expectations were clearly defined: An uncomplicated, citrusy burst of freshness for the masses.
And I was right about that.
What I didn't anticipate, however, was the slight similarity to
Imagination.
Arsh opens with a zesty explosion of grapefruit and bergamot.
The grapefruit note slightly reminds me of "Le Gemme - Tygar | Bvlgari" and provides a crisp, invigorating freshness that is just perfect for a hot summer day.
The opening is pleasant, slightly synthetic, and totally refreshing.
As it develops, the scent only changes subtly.
The citrus remains, but is complemented by a clear neroli heart.
This is probably where my association with
Imagination comes from.
I find that the neroli note here resembles the one from LV a bit.
However, there is no trace of the officially listed almond.
The trio of grapefruit, bergamot, and neroli dominates the scent until the end.
Longevity and projection are in the solid middle range, neither more nor less.
The fragrance is also clearly positioned as masculine (M80%/20%W).
So, the crucial question remains: Is Arsh a candidate for purchase?
For me personally, no.
It is undoubtedly a well-made, nice fragrance that will surely appeal to many.
However, I miss that certain something.
So, who is it suitable for?
For anyone looking for an uncomplicated and pleasant summer scent.
However, those seeking something special, something unexpected, may not find happiness here.
