Sure, wood
Memo perfumes usually come with a full-blown theme built around them. The name, the artwork, and the backstory are all aligned to set the mood in support of the fragrance. In this case, the concept refers to the age-old forest Sherwood, home of the outlaw Robin Hood. This directed my expectations towards dark greens and heavy woods, undergrowth, lichen and fungus. None of this came true.
Sure, there is sandalwood in here, which becomes more and more recognizable after the floral-musky top notes fade. But this is as soft and mellow as a sandalwood can get. Mildly lactonic, a bit powdery from the violet. Probably the cashmeran plays a major role in creating this velvet-soft texture. No strong flavors or dark-green colors that evoke forest vibes. Soft spice, soft pink florals, soft everything.
For a Robin Hood interpretation, this stays way too harmless and risk-free. Say, the Disney cartoon rather than the Kevin Costner or the Russell Crowe movie. However, if we were to forget this context altogether, then I guess this is actually quite an easy-going, mellow sandalwood with a rosy floral background. Not bad, just out of sync with the overall theme.
