What perfume have you bought recently?
Liu Eau de Parfum arrived today. Love it
! Strangely enough this scent only reveals her true soul after some time, leaving a beautyful, pastel coloured trail. Once you think she has gone, is when she will appear! A beauty (like most Guerlains 🥰).
Some anime-inspired fragrances from a brand that hasn't shown up on here before! ...This is definitely cracking the top 10 geekiest things I've ever done, but I mean that in the best way.
I've never really been into fragrances before this, so I decided to splurge on six EDTs to see which I like the most. (All of which I'm going to add to the site!)
Hopefully I'll be able to find a dupe once I run out of these cute little bottles! I wasn't expecting them to be so small...
Vintages:
Regular:
Choco Musk Eau de Parfum (I keep seeing TikToks about a stripper getting a Birkin + $ 10 K tip just for wearing this perfume LOL! Is it really that good? No. I can barely smell it. One-note generic vanilla)
1. Qi Intensivo. I went through my sample in record time and was planning to get a travel, but they had a great sale on it for Black Friday so I'm now the proud owner of a full bottle (without going broke).
I just splurged on Memo Winter Palace by mail, so it’s still on the way and I am very excited
edit: and Im sorry I didn’t notice how to include a graphic link to the scent! hi im new
A fairly reasonably priced decant of discontinued of Narciso Rodriguez For Him.
Cheers!
Essential Parfums Bois Impérial
Chanel 1957 200ml
Chanel Comète 200ml

For my sweetheart @Lempi I bought Odyssey (2023) (V.2) and
Aura for Christmas and today i bought
Acqua di Giò Profondo Parfum with some of my Christmas money I got from her parents (actually it said from “Pörrö) who is their cat 🐈⬛ 🥰
I think it is absolutely gorgeous and totally underrated but I have seen some people say it depends on skin chemistry, so I guess I am one of the lucky ones it smells amazing on 🤩
Just got a really good deal on Diaghilev Parfum and
The Tragedy of Lord George. I'm super excited

I fell to Choco Musk Choco Musk Perfume Oil as well recently. It's ok. Just fine. More vanilla than chocolate on me and as you say- not a lot of depth, but I think it will be good for layering and for the price I am cool with that. By far I prefer
Dipped in Chocolate for a deeper and more rounded chocolate effect.
I got my big bottle of "Barénia | Hermès" for Xmas from the hubster (though I still have plenty in my deluxe sample from my SA). He got Cuir d'Ange then I also bought myself some
Indigo because I like tea oriented fragrances.

I had to ask also when I joined. If you type # and then start typing the fragrance name a selection should pop up to choose from.
Lots of gift purchases for the holidays!
A Whiff of Waffle Cone (2023) and
Dipped in Chocolate for my mom and my aunt. Sister perfumes for the sisters of the family, and they both utterly adored their own fragrances and the concept of sister perfumes!
CK One Eau de Toilette for a friend I took to buy their first fragrance.
Eau Rose Parfum Solide for my grandmother, who loves the smell of roses because they remind her of her mother. She used to love wearing perfume, but doesn't wear anymore because the alcohol irritates her skin very badly now. This solid perfume was the solution; hopefully it's not irritating and she can "smell the smell goods" as she would say!
@Dressed2Kilt What a sweet and touching story!! I'm sure your grandmother will love the solid perfume!
I've heard that Choco Musk oil is better than the EDP. Maybe I will try that next.
Dipped in Chocolate sounds delicious! I already have
A Whiff of Waffle Cone (2020) (original formulation/release). Is it redundant to own both?

I do have the oil of Choco Musk. It really is ok. For under $10 it's a no brainer really for the rollerball. it doesn't really SMELL under $10 but for under $10 there's no way to expect a really well rounded fragrance so it is fairly linear. Some chocolate liquor and then mostly vanilla.
Now Dipped in Chocolate is a limited release, so now would be the time to get some if you want it. It is only out in the $115 bottle, no travel size though. I bought a couple of samples of WoWC and for me, it goes a little overboard on the maple. DiC tones that down and has some lovely chocolate with cinnamon notes, with WoWC sitting under it as the base. I actually think DiC is a lot smoother than WoWC (for me). I think the maple and cinnamon combine with the chocolate to really round it out nicely. For me DiC was the better choice, and I am not at all sorry I bought a full bottle. I had been considering a travel size of WoWC before it came out, and if you have some spare $$ for DiC and you have the original WoWC which I think is a bit different from the newer version, I think it is worth it.

I recently bought me the el cheapo Boss Number One Eau de Toilette and I freaking love it!

I ended up getting Pegasus by PDM. I usually don’t like to get perfumes only having smelled them at the counter it usually doesn’t work out (prefer to get 5ml sample). But, I still like this one!
