Belle d'arles EdT, Fragonard
At the turn of the year 2019/20, I had the pleasure of staying with a friend in Paris.
She raved to me about the Fragonard fragrance museum and that she was able to take part in a perfumery workshop there and create her very own fragrance.
Wow. I quickly booked a guided tour in German and immersed myself in the wonderful world of fragrances and their mysterious and interesting production I was blown away by the whole ambience. It's really worth a visit.
Above all, I fell in love with "Etoile".
Now I get fragrance samples from time to time. At fragonard, they usually come as scented wipes in small packets, similar to grandma's 4711 refreshing wipes back then.
Fragonard's #Belle d'arles is for me
tart, herbaceous, pungent at first. Reminds me of the perfume of old ladies from my childhood.
Gradually becomes softer, quieter, warmer and creamier.
For me, neither floral nor citrusy - sweet. Rather spicy-woody with a warming finish
Lasts a long time close to the skin. With me still 12h after application warm and creamy perceptible.
Wouldn't be my favorite, as it smells really harsh and scratchy to me at first. But it gradually develops into a warm, cozy blanket on the skin
