Simple floral perfection
I'm enjoying Fragonard immensely because it has such simplistic beauty. This is a wonderfully balanced composition, with every note complimenting the other in perfect harmony.

There is a hint of zesty bergamot, which gives this fragrance a slight energetic feel. Mostly this fragrance is centered around the lily, honeysuckle and the jasmine, creating this sensuous yet green and leafy bouquet.

It's a very classic scent, like one you might wear on your wedding day. I'd certainly wear this fragrance if I was to wed on a rainy day in Rome, it has that cold yet romantic feel to it.

Fragonard makes you feel like a woman, a wise and elegant one at that. There's something very clean and crisp about the scent too, which makes it more likable on the skin.

It's along the lines of Diorissimo, just not as pink and Spring-like. Fragonard feels much plainer, but in no way boring, it just relies on its wearer to make something out of it. The scent makes me think of lotion and wedding dresses, there's no other way for me to describe it.

Not really a fragrance to make a statement, but one that will garner many compliments. I highly recommend.

Another Good Reason for Women to Smell Like Flowers
FRAGONARD offers a high-quality beautiful bouquet of primarily white flowers. What a joy to breath in fresh, genuine floral essences. Just say "no" to sour, stale, ersatz, synthetic chemical soup!

This wonderful edt transports me back to the South of France: Nice, Eze, and above all Grasse, where I made a pilgrimage a few years ago. Fields of flowers abound at every turn, and there are plenty of people around who genuinely care about the *art* of perfume. Everyone who loves perfume needs to visit Grasse--and not just virtually, through the sinister film "Perfume: Story of a Murderer"...

FRAGONARD is a truly scrumptious floral: I can dive into this bouquet and be happy for hours. The edt has good staying power and the drydown remains gently and tenderly floral. The honeysuckle is especially pronounced to my nose.

Although I generally steer clear of supersize bottles of fragrance, in this case, I am happy that I purchased the 200ml bottle--more to love and share!!!

Attention, Attention...
... to all those still looking for a lovely fragrance for the transition, that is, for spring and cool summer days. But I also address young and new members who are tired of the shelf fragrances from drugstores, seeking a special and beautiful scent that not everyone wears and that, despite being a classic, absolutely fits into today’s world and is also affordable. Fragonard!
You have combined several characteristics here:
1. A bit of the punch of the old classics, but not too much.
2. Notes that will excite you, as you will continuously be sniffing at yourself. By the way, the pyramid above is a joke, as there are definitely fruity notes like wet Anna, no, pineapple, included.
3. You stand out from the sweet, pink, and oh I’m so nice and cute uniformity, braid-wearing Elevines.
4. This classic not only smells great, unsweetened, unpretentious, cheerful, and a bit brisk, it also has the brilliant longevity of the old school.
The candidate gets a hundred points!

Well, there you go
After testing several Fragonard fragrances and feeling somewhat disillusioned, I had little expectations left for Fragonard by Fragonard.
But at least the signature scent of the brand shows that Fragonard can do more than just banal sweet floral or gourmand waters. I fear the brand is also jumping on the bandwagon of mass appeal, which seems to make quick money. I find it quite unfortunate that the "new" fragrances all come in the same generic bottle, only distinguishable by their packaging.

Now "Fragonard" stands out pleasantly from the fragrances I have encountered so far, as it aims in the direction of old, unsweetened perfumes like Madame Rochas, L`Air du Temps, or similar. After a while, its very pleasant soapy note reminds me of the Super EdP from Estee Lauder. In the old-fashioned way, the scent is so balanced that I can't really identify any single note. I would like to wear this from time to time, and anyone who can appreciate bright, unsweetened elegance should definitely give Fragonard a try.

Beautifully old-fashioned and thereby charmingly vintage
Finally, a scent from the sample set that is not sweet, too floral, or even gourmand. So far, all the tested perfumes have been somewhat sugary and not really to my taste.

Fragonard de Fragonard pleasantly stands out from the crowd. It is fresh, herbaceous, and very classic. I doubt this perfume will appeal to the younger generation, as it is quite old-fashioned, but also charmingly vintage!

The fragrance starts off fresh, dominated by honeysuckle, and throughout the scent, there is a fine soapy quality as the main theme.

The heart note develops into a floral-herbaceous profile. I don't really perceive jasmine on my skin. I would have guessed rose and lily here, but with such a sparse pyramid, speculation is inevitable.

The base extends the heart note, and if amber is included, then in such small amounts that the listing could have been omitted. I would have guessed musk and wood as the processed notes anyway.

Fragonard is a beautiful, classic summer scent for those who enjoy a herbaceous and nostalgic fragrance. It is certainly not a grand olfactory masterpiece; rather, it is well-crafted folk art and perfectly suitable for daily use.

Traditional white flower bouquet & herbaceous greenery on the slender base of an elegant wooden table. Fresh water in the vase. OK!

A shimmering blue-green sea of flowers beneath the lush green of the mighty soap tree. Beautiful! Charming. Harmonious. Reminds me of Anais Anais.

A non-sweet, hyacinth-dominated floral scent. A bit like "Anais Anais," but also "Margaretha Ley" (the more austere one). Elegant, noble.

Wonderful, chypre-like start; first mossy-smoky, then floral-powdery with a pleasant woody-powdery base.

Starts mossy before the fresh, herbaceous + slightly soapy flowers take over. Nostalgic + elegant. Like from another time.

Has vintage charm. A fragrant soap piece. Very neat, pleasantly rounded floral scent with a hint of green. The sweet lily gently caresses everything.
