Réminiscence means reminiscence, echo, recollection in German, and the perfumes of the Réminiscence brand can be smelled entirely in this sense: founded in 1970, charming wafts of retro scent from the Seventies waft through the fragrances.
Zoé Coste and Nino Amaddeo opened Ylang-Ylang in Juan-les-Pins on the Côte d'Azur, which was renamed Réminiscence 10 years later. Natural patchouli, natural ambergris and musk were the essences on which they specialized, in true contemporary hippie fashion.
Today, the two still run Réminiscence (assisted by their children Sébastien Coste and Lilla Amaddeo), which has become a well-established brand for perfume and high-end costume jewelry. The latest line, Les Notes Gourmandes, interprets the gourmand theme musically inspired in four perfumes named after the French names of the notes of the C major scale.

Many thanks to Nick for the bottling of "Patchouli | Réminiscence" :-) This fragrance is not feminine for me but definitely unisex. Unfortunately, I don't really like it because of its strong earthiness. The longevity is solid at around...
