Fantasy is something that some cannot even imagine
This probably also applies to those responsible at Birkholz. I don't know what came to their minds when they heard the word Forest, but what the Berliners have produced here is beyond imagination, especially if you've inhaled too much air in Görlitzer Park.
What I mean to say is: Forest Fantasy is unsuitable for anyone who thought of trees, leaves, dense forest, ferns, green firs, pines, wood, oak moss, or dark thickets and rubbed their hands together in eager anticipation or let their nasal passages vibrate with delight. Unfortunately, this fragrance has nothing to do with that, absolutely nothing at all.
Instead, you get a lazy impression of quickly mixing a few low-quality ingredients and trying to sell it under a green label. Okay, the lime comes across somewhat fresh and snappy, the rosemary is a bit original, and cedarwood at least fits thematically.
The rest completely fades away and could have just as well remained unmentioned.
As a fruity freshie with a touch of exotic flair in the drugstore segment, I might not have said anything. But Forest Fantasy comes across as so uninspired and synthetic that one wonders who they are trying to fool with this self-inflated claim and price. It falls into the same category as numerous current aquatic mainstream fragrances, only there at least they have set a small limit on the price.
