Flughörnchen's Encounter with a Cat
I already mentioned that black exerts an enormous attraction on me. So here as well.
...and then also at Kenzo where I love the fragrances so much.
I just couldn't help myself again and had to somehow get my hands on the bottle. I really had to search for a long time until I could catch this cat.
There it was,
black and slender, standing before me.
Very, very pretty, I think.
The scent opens with freshly picked wild strawberries, which have a very unique, special taste. A hint of clementines mixes in, making it all very delicious.
And then slowly the velvet paw awakens and floral nuances blend in, caressing the preceding fruits.
Imagine a cat rubbing against your legs; that's how peony, tuberose, and jasmine gently play around the nose.
But if you want to pet the little kitty now, it pulls back and gives you a swipe with its velvet paw. Because now amber and patchouli come into play. I hardly perceive any musk. It takes a little moment for everything to merge into a unity, but this is by no means disturbing.
This unity from the flowers to the patchouli is truly a beautiful blend. Different from what one usually knows from the fragrances of the Kenzo house. I absolutely did not expect this, but I am more than positively surprised.
The scent is different.
What I find a bit disappointing is the longevity. After about 8 hours, the fun is almost over. Very, very faintly and with a little imagination, you can still sense a hint of amber/patchouli. I really would have expected a bit more. But well, it is what it is.
The little kitty just doesn't feel like playing with me anymore after eight hours.
I want to give her some peace.
