When "His Confession" and "Dior Homme Intense" Get Married
Introduction: First of all, I want to say that I only bought a decant. Not the full bottle. I do not regret this decision at all. Not because the scent doesn’t smell good, but because I already have His Confession by Lattafa and Dior Homme Intense (2011).
Best of both worlds?: The fragrance combines for me a dry powderiness with a slight sweetness, light floral hints, and woody accords in the base. From my perspective, it draws from the Dior Homme Intense drawer and captures the lipstick vibe. At the same time, it also takes on the sweetness from His Confession. This makes the scent both sexy and slightly playful, preventing it from coming across as too serious and formal. For me, the fragrance is warm.
My conclusion is: For everyone who likes elegance. Perfect for autumn and winter. The scent enjoys the evening and feels particularly comfortable on dates or for hours spent together. But it also performs solidly at outdoor events, like the Christmas market. In the office, it feels a bit too much for me. The fragrance doesn’t have a special twist and is very linear in its development from start to finish. It becomes warmer towards the end and loses the lipstick-like dryness a bit, in my opinion. Longevity and sillage are good for the price.
Would I get the full bottle?: No. In my view, it’s not worth it. However, for those who neither have His Confession nor Dior Homme Intense, it’s worth testing.
