girl, what the hell
two places as well things that i associate when first smelling this,
1. a pet shop with cat litter boxes and catnips.
2. the smell of arabic shops that sells perfume oil roll-ons whomst religious muslim men tend to purchase from in jalan masjid india (a place in malaysia).
smells like bamboo stick lashings from religious islamic specifically male teachers with beards and hates you because you screamed and ran around the school ground with your friends once. (that was personal)
immediate hit of spices that were hodge podge of cinnamon and cloves, with a sort of.. hay-ish ginger background. no milk, no vanilla, no sweetness, pure spice. as well as cat litter boxes. then surprisingly after 30 minutes, it reveals a minty quality which soon enough i found out later in more of its dry down that it was transforming into milk in which the spices lay and bathe in. was very sharp and kicked in fast enough for me to back up a little bit after smelling, but slowly keep re-smelling this on my arm. i don't know whether im opposed to it or i like it lol

Chai with a side of rose
a chai latte through and through but it maintains its warm spice and soft ginger touch so that it's not too muddled or dimmed down by the milk and vanilla. It's definitely milky with the perfect amount of sweetness, but refined. I do find ginger to be regularly annoying as a note, but here it feels less sharp than most other fragrances, and not as spiced, just earthy, fresh, slightly zingy. I will say as it dries down I'm not the biggest fan of the stemmy rose that peaks out, as it feels out of place. Doesn't ruin the scent but does make it feels cohesive/well blended to me.

Not exactly photorealistic chai, but unmistakably tea
This perfume surprised me as it wasn't what I expected from a chai scent, but I was impressed nonetheless.

At first spray, it's mainly leather and spices. It made me think of antique shops where there's a nondescript smell like incense lingering in the air among the dust—earthy, spicy, and smoky. The spices were very cardamom and pepper-forward, with some ginger peaking through but not a lot. There was a bit rose floating around in there somewhere at first too. It stays like this for about the first two hours.

At the two-hour mark, the black tea starts to shine through rich and a bit earthy. Still in the antique shop, but they brought you a fresh cup of tea to enjoy while you peruse their wares. Then, the spices and leather back off a bit and let the tea be the star of the scent. It gets a little sweeter around the three or four-hour mark with the vanilla, musk, and milk slowly but persistently emerging.

This has great longevity, lasting about 10 hours on me. Like the title says, it's not photorealistic chai tea/latte but it is a wonderful and intriguing take on it. I'm not a fan of leather in fragrances but I love this nevertheless as the leather is more manageable and balanced by some other notes.

Favorite take on spiced tea scent so far. Got this condensed milk feeling to it, could've been more lactonic and the spices doesnt lean BO.

Woe to the café that serves such a chai. They burned the spices and mixed the charred oil right into the tea.

Smells like a realistic chai latte, perfect for autumn / winter. Magnetic cap, and overall a high-quality bottle.
