Teas Me French Avenue 2025

The mix of the different notes is so perfectly blended and the main star the Tea is delicious and natural smelling. The opening is very citrusy and kinda spicy as well and perfectly matches the Tea in the background. When the citrus notes disappear the Tea becomes the star. And the dry down is kinda clean and soapy but still creamy and warm. Perfect for spring, summer and autumn.

To start off, I am a huge, and I mean a HUGE glazer of Zara’s Sunrise on the red sand dunes (SOTRSD). I’ve tried multiple Imagination dupes, or fragrances of that DNA, so it’s clear to say that I have a good understanding of that sort of Imagination profile.

Getting into the review, I’m not one that cares much about the presentation of fragrances - but man, this one is ridiculously good!

Continuing, upon my first sprays on the wrist, one thing was very clear - the opening is very very close and reminiscent of Zara’s SOTRSD. It almost smells exactly the same. This stage lasts about 30? Ish minutes until the dry down slowly kicks in.

The drydown in my opinion, is where the magic happens. If Zara’s SOTRSD kept its neutral tea like, fresh opening for the whole duration of its existence; Teas me is extremely polarising when compared. It goes from a fresh tea scent to this amazing, woody and herbal sensation.

This stage is also where I noticed similarities to Bois imperial - the herbal drydown is quite similar to bois imperials overall profile. To be more specific, if you imagine bois imperial with a lot more greenery, and a touch of vanilla (some sort of creaminess) in the back - it becomes Teas me’s dry down stage.

It doesn’t change much from there. It keeps that herbal and woody scent for the most duration of the fragrance, and honestly, I’m not mad at all. The only slight changes that I notice is that it becomes gradually more woody as time passes.

The total longevity on Teas me is alright. The first 30 minutes is fresh and near equivalent to SOTRSD, and the remaining 5-6 hours is the woody, bois imperial-like stage.

I really like tea fragrances, and this is one I will be rinsing this summer. It’s very easy to wear, and in fact mass appealing too. It Doesn’t give you too much attention, but will have people thinking that you smell good! This also speaks for the projection - it isn’t overwhelming, but noticeable.

My recommendation is - go to your nearest Zara and try SOTRSD. If you like it, go for Teas me. If you like bois imperial too, it’s not a bad idea to give it a shot.

Overall - I’m impressed. I think that it’s completely redundant to own Imagination, Wulong cha or most tea fragrances with similar profiles.

Man this guy has a vision for creativity because all his stuff is freaking good! I have 3 from this line and all are some of my favorites! Quality is great. Does this follow the trail of imagination of course it does but it’s sweeter and just different in a few ways. It’s not like imagination but it follows that line of creativity with citrus, spice, woods florals around the tea note and this is phenomenal. Get this I’m telling you

The opening is a nice burst of ginger with citrusy touches that could be lime or mandarin.

Within no more than 10 minutes, it moves completely away from that freshness and turns into a creamy, spicy black tea with milk.

As someone who drinks tea with milk on a daily basis, I recognized that combination perfectly, and honestly, I haven't seen it mentioned much in the reviews.

The overall impression is that this is a very special fragrance to me — extremely relaxing and very well made. Although it does share some of the DNA of Imagination , I would personally say that, as a whole, it comes closer to Wūlóng Chá X, because of the darkness surrounding the tea. Even so, it manages to carve out its own identity very nicely.

I can easily see this working as a year-round signature scent (with a bit of restraint on the sprays in extreme temperatures) if you have a calm personality, or simply for those moments when you want to unwind.

As for performance, I would say it's probably around average or above average for a designer fragrance, with a minimun of 6 hours of longevity.

…but I’m not sure I’m into that vibe.

The tea note in this is SPOT ON. Absolutely accurate. It is perfect.

But I don’t think I want to wear that. When I wore it, it felt like I smelled like I spilled a couple of tea pots on myself in the gourmet chinese restaurant, or I was brewing concentrated black tea for 36 hours straight.

It’s as if it’s got a gourmandish vibe because of its accuracy, but it’s a scent profile that I don’t want to exude.

I mean I LOVE my caramel, tonka, vanilla, cinnamon notes, and it’s the same idea. Some people hate them.

Now I understand what they feel.

It is by no means a “bad note” or a bad fragrance. I mean, it’s the most perfect tea note I’ve ever experienced. I just don’t want to wear it.

It brings that hot black tea character together with a fresh, ice cold, shiny bright turquoise behind it that lifts it up high.

It projected on, maybe 2-3ft of a projection bubble, and the sillage was ok. Longevity, I’ll give it 4-6hours (thankfully).

It’s one you have to be prepared for. You have to know what you like, and be sure that you want exactly that.

It achieved what it was going for.
