I'm so sorry that I have been extremely busy and not noticed the responses to this thread before.

First of all, @JayNay, I'm terribly sorry to hear your wife passing away, my condolences.

@Whimssysteph Thank you so much! It's indeed summer here, both in Finland and Scotland that are the countries I'm currently living in. The discovery set is absolutely awesome, I already had a mini bottle of Cheirosa '62 in my collection which was almost empty so was great to get a small backup. Also I had an old half empty 90 ml bottle of Cheirosa '87 which is one of my favourite fragrances of all time, my old bottle still says "Rio Radiance" but this new mini has the new name/design '87 on it already which is awesome because it's the year of my bith! 😍🙌 I also absolutely adore all the other fragrances in the set and @Mitchcraft loves them too. One of my best purchases this year so far for sure.

@Gourmandgrl Tons of thanks! 🥰🙏 I have really had amazing time with @Mitchcraft this summer and currently I'm associating especially Green Tea Coconut Breeze very strongly to this summer and Scotland and the gorgeous coast of the North Sea. 💗

Yesterday I found a real gem from a Finnish flea market! Discontinued Michael Kors Coral that I have been looking for for ages, almost full 30 ml for 7 euros!! Couldn't be happier! 😍🙏 It's absolutely gorgeous, I was wearing it yesterday. I'm adding it on my rotation for summer 2024 now.

Sundazed Eau de Parfum (used bottle, I wanted this for so long and was too stingy to buy it, so happy to finally have it for summer ☀️🍊🍧)

Orb of Night (also from my wishlist, it's a bit Good Girl esque, but with cherry, and I love the bottle 🌙)

Sweet Tooth Eau de Parfum (blind buy! I like it, but I'm not sure yet if I like it enough to keep it. I already have so many of those cozy, light gourmands and I'm unsure if it fills a gap in my collection)

Just travelled back to Scotland with @Mitchcraft today and before the flight ended up spending the extra time at Helsinki-Vantaa airport in the duty free fragrance stores of course 😂 My purchases were a huge bottle of Tommy Girl for a ridiculously cheap price and a 50 ml bottle of the new Gaultier Divine Le Parfum which is absolutely gorgeous and also my scent of the night. ✨💖💕

I recently picked up:
Tonka Sarrapia Extrait—This is a gorgeous Tonka with spices and sort of a papery tobacco note (there is no tobacco listed).

Neroli Outrenoir— a soft neroli tea scent. I’ve had it only a few days and already the dent is severe. Hahaha

Tobacco Honey—the beautiful honey perfume that I can’t wait for cooler weather to wear.

Chamomile Satin—blind bought this so fingers crossed.

Glad you had fun on vacation!!!
Most recent acquisitions into the collection are:

Black Gold, really liking this. Always been a shameless fan of Mancera/Montale, and this is no exception. Soapy Violet, powdery lavender, steamy woody notes. A great cooler weather wear.

L'Instant de Guerlain pour Homme Eau de Toilette, always a classic and I should’ve rebought a bottle years ago. The bottle I got is a 2016 batch too! Pre L'Homme Idéal Eau de Toilette bottle style 😄

Encre Noire Eau de Toilette, what might be a replacement to Dior Homme (2020) Eau de Toilette for me! Very earthy woody Vetiver scent, with a healthy dose of warm woody ISO E super.

Ice Dive Eau de Toilette, a basic out-the-shower freshie but I’m REALLY liking it, and for $12 I can’t really complain. In a weird way, the way the lavender comes off in this, it smells like a minty cheapie version of Platinum Égoïste Eau de Toilette.

Also got two samples of Patchouli Magnetik, and I’m REALLY liking this one despite how divisive it is – really odd scent profile but it’s weirdly wonderful. Fruity–leathery–sweet–woody… Just an odd combination of notes, and I can understand why it’s not liked, it is a very peculiar scent profile.

Had a 15% discount so I got A Floral Verse from Gucci.

Givenchy III (2007) It's so lovely, but sillage could be better. Oh if only I would find something with that same smell, but with stronger sillage....

Bois Lumière and Sticky Dates ... You can pre-order Lush limited edition body sprays, including Grape Soda, Passion, Peaches, Lemony Flutter, Space Girl on their website now. I've missed out last year, so I was FINALLY able to get my Sticky Dates

I was on my way to Floris London, then realized there was a Santa Maria Novella shop on the corner of Piccadilly and Piccadilly arcade that I have never noticed before. At my defense, I am not a Londoner.

As a result, my new babies are :

Red Rose Eau de Parfum

Alba di Seoul

Città di Kyoto

I really wanted to add another tea fragrance to my collection. I hadn't yet decided whether I wanted another green tea note, or if I was going to go for white tea this time around. But then I came across a 30ml bottle of White Tea Eau de Toilette for only 6 euros. It's perfect. A size that I will be able to finish (I'd prefer to not buy 100ml bottles, I'll never finish them!) and so inexpensive! Can't wait until it gets here.

For me it‘s Utopia Vanilla Coco from Kayali. Super creamy! Love it 😊

I'm most excited about a recent samples I got of Osmanthe Liu Yuan and Violette Kew - I'm just figuring out that I DO like florals and these are just the right amount/balance with other things I like to make them approachable.

Well I bought a 50ml bottle of Tom Ford Beau de Jour for a steal and then traded another fragrance (Dunhill Indian Sandalwood) for a 100ml bottle of Acqua Di Parma Essenza.

Love the Beau de Jour as it is a right class officed fragrance.  The Essenza is working out swimmingly in my Florida heat and humidity and the opening citrus is wonderful.  Though, I am tempted now to go ahead and get ADP Sandalo as I love sandalwood and hear the dry down in that is a nice sandalwood.

@Rgc nice buys. Sandalo Eau de Parfum is awesome. Beautiful, smooth sandalwood. Performance is also very good. It's on my shopping list too. Available in the 6oz industrial size. 😄

Yeah the price I found on the 6oz size makes more sense the buying the normal 100ml. I think I might have to wait a bit . . . been kind of on a buying binge lately.

Well my Velours Bois and Tempete D’Automne finally arrived.  Time to start testing.

I just ordered the New "Tonka" from Le Couvent. i also tried to submit it to the database.

It's a blind purchase, but Sweet Orange + Tonka bean + Jean-Claude Ellena + Le Couvent can do no harm, can't they?

And I got a 20 % discount.

I've also decided to get A Drop d'Issey Eau de Parfum Fraîche after testing it several times. Fell in love with it for the warmer days.

I bought Mula Mula - which I thought was really popular but it hasn’t been reviewed a lot.

It is such a beautiful scent, similar to "La Capitale | XerJoff" and Venom Incarnat

@Rgc nice buys man. I’d love to hear what you think of Beau the jour. Contemplating about that one but I already have Zino Eau de Toilette that’s supposed to be quite alike. Why’d you get rid of the Dunhill frag? Too synthetic on the sandelwood?

I have just ordered Gucci Guilty Absolute pour Homme and Hermes Terre d'Hermès Eau de Toilette .

@Ceesie Beau de Jour is quickly replacing Ormonde Man as my daily office choice.  I can't get enough of it, especially the dry down.  I know it is supposed to remind everyone of Zino, but, I have never tried that one.

As for the Dunhill Indian Sandalwood it simply disappeared on me to quickly.  My skin chemistry really works against fragrances hanging around, at least it did with this one.  While I could smell it it was a great Sandalwood that would make a beautiful office scent.  Now I am searching for a Sandalwood with staying power, but, most are mixed with rose and my wife tends not to fancy rose scents on me.  All this to say for the price on Joma the Dunhill is a must try for any one looking for a masculine sandalwood.

Edited to add that Terre D'Hermes is one of my favorites, good purchase.  Monday my new bottle of Hermes Bel Ami Vetiver should be delivered and I am very excited about that one.

@Ceesie , I have tested Zino Eau de Toilette and Beau de Jour Eau de Parfum separately on consecutive days and compared them at the same time by spraying each on a different hand. To me, the initial opening of Zino is stronger or rougher while the Beau de Jour is finer or more polished. That difference only lasted a few minutes. Once they have dried down, they are identical in all respects, including performance. The Beau de Jour is very slightly more floral than Zino, comparing them by putting my nose to the area I sprayed. In the air, the difference is not detectable. IMO, it is redundant to own both.

Of course, everyone is different. The best way is to test yourself.
