...most expensive bottle would be my 100ml III-IV Tango followed by Elysium Parfum Cologne Eau de Parfum .Price per ml, I guess that would be Back to Black Aphrodisiac Perfume and Black Phantom Memento Mori I use them as any of my other fragrances. The only ones I am more carefull with are my official Xerjoff miniatures and my MFK travel atomizers

As a matter fact, it could well be that he used Knize Ten Toilet Water which has been around since the 1920's.Now looking at more likely candidates: Old Spice Classic Cologne or Boss Number One Eau de Toilette or Obsession for Men Eau de Toilette ...I would bet on those. They were popular at the time, especially the CK has a cinnamon heavy opening ...I would check those first🤷
