Still unknown, but beautiful
Nuance Noir was only released last year and is therefore still not very well known.
In general, the Birkholz fragrances often fly under the radar.
However, there are some really great scents among them.
Nuance Noir definitely belongs to the category of quite beautiful fragrances and is solid all around.
Woody, leathery impressions paired with fruity notes and a fine spiciness.
Towards the end, a subtle vanilla sweetness comes into play, along with a hint of incense.
The fragrance starts directly with the woody, leathery impressions.
In addition, there is primarily the fruity raspberry and a bit of peach.
After a while, a subtle, pleasant nutmeg spiciness sets in. Furthermore, there is a truly beautiful iris note that benefits the fragrance, and towards the end, it noticeably becomes sweeter with the vanilla. Nevertheless, there is also a pleasantly smoky vibe. Well-placed incense circles around here.
Overall, a really solid fragrance.
What I find unfortunate is the performance.
It could be better.
On my skin, it doesn't last much longer than 6 hours. That’s when it’s - at the latest - over.
